First grow ever

It was bag seed. 1 of 5 that germ. So boy, girl, we'll see. ^-^ rn, I just wanna get the growth part down. Then going to see a seedbank

All it takes is a seed and a dream! and also everything else...congrats, you're past the first hurdle, now don't overwater them.

Can we offer some advise?

Don't water that whole bucket. Its a large container for a small seedling and that seeding can't possible drink up all that moisture. So what happens is that water stays sitting in the soil and begins to rot the tiny little roots its growing.

You may want to give it a day or 2 and then gently get it out of that bucket and into a solo cup with a seedling mix in the solo cup. With a solo cup you can water the whole thing and it won't be too much. Let it get established in that 1st. Then transplant it back into what you have it in.

Thanks. I wont over water. Promise. My soil is cow manure, bone meal. Perlite and vermiculite and a generic veggie fert.
I dont know ratios, so I winged it.
I got a poop light for now, then a better one coming. A space heater for heat and air. Lined walls with foil stuff...
When and if it works, I'll invest more money and time. For now, it's a reggie test run <3

K. If your going to keep it in that large container I strongly advise to only water directly around the stem of your seedling. Even with proper aeration watering that whole bucket is a recipe for disaster.

You do need to let that soil dry out. But where did you get it? It looks like it's full bugs and maggots.

op if you have more seeds i highly suggest starting one in a small cup, hell I've done it in a plastic bag. see which one grows faster, you may be surprised how quickly the smaller containers grows and the resulting root structure. it won't take much space up and you can have twice the chance at a female

Got to get more seeds from the bunch

This community is better than most I've been in. No one wants to have sex with my mom, and no one is assuming my sexual preference lol

Well that's not fair. I don't even know your mom. Is she cute?
And B, I assume you prefer female plants. Otherwise, it's just weird.
Give us a chance before you judge. :bigjoint:

Depends on if I wanna make my own offspring later or not. But yes, typically female plants are what I, and my friends are hoping for

For future reference, (if you were not already aware) there are ways to create offspring from female plants as well producing all female seed. I recently started my first attempt at free fem seeds.
