First grow help plox

Hello RIU! I have a few girls outside, first grow, bagseed, cheap nutes but with correct NPK, cheap soil. They began flowering Aug15, so have been going for about 6 weeks. Frosts are coming soon, and I expect they can only go 2-3 more weeks before I gotta harvest. As you can see, all the weight is on the main cola, but the buds are not thick at all, barely even taking the shape of buds, maybe 2-3 inch thick cola at most. I know I made mistakes, but is there anything I can do to help my buds in these last few weeks? Will there be a growth spurt? I see even other newbie growers with coke can thick colas, so maybe they will grow in the final stretch? HALP!

Looks ok, hows the trichs? I don't think there is anything you can do to speed up the flower process unfortunately I think it depends on the strain. I have heard its ok for a slight frost as long as they get sun in the morning and good wind to dry out the moisture. I would just keep an eye on frost warnings, last night it was 0/32 here and today my ladies are just fine as it warmed up nicely. Don't quote me Im on my first outdoor grow as well in a 6a climate.

not too frosty yet, magnifier shows trichs still clear as day. im more worried about the yield, the buds are seemingly nonexistant...
i hope a few more weeks and ill see some growth. i dont want to have to buy bud, so if these girlies dont yield i may have to break my habit haha.
it was cold last night, but i think they are ok, ill cover with garbage bags at night if it gets as bad as last night.

my plant started to flower around august 2nd, so i'm about 2 weeks ahead of you. alot depends as always, on strain but i noticed a lot more weight toward the end of the 6th week, beginning of the 7th. i couldn't really tell too much by the naked eye, but when i would shake the dew off in the morning i would really start to feel the extra weight and i still am. bottom line is that i think that for alot of new growers, we see a slow development all throughout the start of the flowering process and assume that development is gonna continue at that rate until the end and we then start getting worried looking at the calander. give her time and i'm sure that you will notice a big increase in weight in the coming few weeks!

9/30 update, 1 week from OP: My girls buds have noticeably increased in size, gotten frostier, both the main cola and the secondary budding sites, although still relatively puny compared to the liter bottle size colas other posters have. In any case, I'm happy I'm letting them go another 2 weeks or so. I really want those liter bottle size colas, probably not gonna happen, but a guy can dream.

10/18 update:
it rained 3 days straight a few days ago, and on the third day (exactly 8 weeks flowering), the leaves were looking pretty unhealthy, and my trichs were showing somewhere from 10% to 30% browning, so I chopped my 4 girls. I couldnt dry em inside due to the smell, so I hung em outside in the shade for 3 days. They weren't yet completely dry, but it was going to rain again, so I took the opportunity to trim em up, which took a long time, but was very satisfying. Here are my results! harvest.jpg
I'm going to guess maybe 2-3oz dry? Its nothing crazy, but not bad for a noobie, I'm pretty happy :)
good luck to everyone else!
