First Grow Hindu Skunk

Hi all I'm on my first grow They are Hindu Skunk, 2-400 watt HPS in a 8x10 room.
For ventilation I cut a 6x10" hole in my floor and mounted a Box fan over it.
I have 2 outside windows open, and Milar on the walls and reflective board on the floor.
I'm using MG Moisture Control for the soil, and plan on using Tiger Bloom for flower.
I fount Spider Mites on week 5 but I won that battle:hump:

When I first got them I made sure I had my lights 5' over the clones as they were only a few days old, I did this for a week and then lowered them to 12" from the tops.
Watering... The first 4 1/2 weeks was 1/2 quart of water a day, then I dosed them with a tbs of Mollasses per gal. for 1 watering and then watered 2xs a day straight water.
I also rotate the plants 180* every morning to alow light to as much plant as I can.
Just found out that my electric bill is going up 3 times what I used to pay.
 
Well the fuckn mites er back! I going to nuke the bastages! :evil:
Any way going back to the grow if you have any advice give it.

i love hindu skunk ive grown it in/outdoor and im on another run in my outdoor this season, there some best bushes and it makes some tasty gooey bubble....damn and yours look really good.
 
Thanks I really have no idea about this strain or any other.
I grew some alcapolco gold back in the 80s and did good but man have things changed on the farm?
How tall should I let them get before I start them flowering?? I can only have 5 1/2'-6' at the finish.
I'm looking at 2 more weeks??
They are 26" and 21" now, gettin about 3-5" a week growth. MG Moisture Control 18-6 hrs. and no nutes yet.

ya 2 more weeks of vegg will be nice , they look good its a super tasty strain, ya i picked up that mask in my avatar from this pipestore in redding for like 40$ wich i thought was super cheap cause its glass.

They are at 30" average so what do you think 5' would be about the size at harvest? I just don't know how tall they will get after 8/9 weeks of flower?
 
when you switch the plant from vegging to a 12 hour light schedule, the plant will stretch and grow close to 300%. yes that's right, 300%. your plants have been ready for flower for weeks, get them started. At this point, youre gonna be in for a huge tangled forest of branches, so i suggest putting up a trellis of some sort.
 
Ok I'm starting today Just watered them with some "N" nutes.
My lights usualy go off at 11pm. I want the Lights on from 7pm-7am
so the'll be w/o lights for about 20 hours, that shouldn't hurt them, I hear
to put them in the dark for 24-36hrs. before flower.
Molasses and Tiger Bloom every other watering till 2 weeks from harvest,
then flush,
Did I forget anything????:confused:
