First Grow!! Indoor CFL - Help needed! Follow with Me

Hey there!! I am starting a grow in a dr40... sprouts are on their way, just waiting for tent and im up and running (it will be here in 2 days)

so far this is my set up:

9 Early Wonder Skunk from Vancouver Seed Bank in Sunshine organic and perlite

4x 26w 6500k CFL till my tent is up and running good,

like i said tent is coming so I will be buying some lights when down at shop and I have 2 42w 2700 CFL's at home....

I wanna LST or sog, not sure how many lights/plants i can get in my little tent....
any suggestions on what I should do with my plants is welcome, sooner the better before I go to shop so I can pick up the right stuff....

This is the beginning of a longtime personal grow op, follow along with me!! :hug:

im not sure of the best way to maximize my yield... how many plants you guys think i can sex in this little tent?

another vancity grower? right on dude. i cant advise you on nutes i do like alakan fish emulsion though it smells like shit it works great but it depends are you aiming for organic or not? yah you can sex in that thing if you LST if you look at my pc grow anything is possible with LST. Let me know how the skunk goes im debating what seeds i want for my next grow.

well the tent is delayed a day, im getting it tomorrow!!

im kinda stressed cause I actually have to move houses in a week, but its only 10mins away so the plants will only be interrupted for a few minutes if I can do it seamlessly

so the tent is up and running... having heat issues last night, was 90-95 got it down to 77-80 now...

6x 26w 6500k on it now... once i get more fans i can up the light count.

Im going to use fox farm grow big for the veg stage of plant then switch to a budding nute. any suggestions?

pics suck cause my gf took the cam, plants are 4-5 days old

naw they had some at this grow shop in Richmond... but yeah the guy said that they are banned in Canada because they didn't follow the organic rules so apparently :spew: there out....

i just wanted a basic veg formula and "Grow Big" had the most balanced dose... you got any favs for flowering?

I got 2 pc fans in my tent now but cant get it below 29c or 84f... i have one in front of the vent and the other pulling air up in the exhaust on the top, anyone have any ideas or have grown in a small tent with similar issues?

so they only carry grow big in that richmond shop? and i could advise anything because i havent tried enough to compare but im looking forward to your grow keep it up. so bring temps down it would mean either more fans or less light especially with summer coming... or leave the tent up while lights are on... up to you good luck

my tent stays at 79-85 F and i tryied and tried to get it to cooldown to be 74-80 but, i said fuck it with 1 intake 1 exaust

if it gets up to 88+ i'd start to worry i think the most important thing is consistancy more so then exactly 78F temp

what sort of fans do you have? like how is your exhaust and intake hooked up? I kinda just half shoved a 120mm pc fan in top shooting air up and one on side shooting air in... and i have 2 vent flaps wide open... temps are 84-86, maybe i will get another pc fan? :confused: i only have 6x 26w in there.... i def want more watts for flowering

im going to post some pics in the morning....

I had this issues for a while and then i resolved it.

I have a 3x3x5 Grow box and in there i have
8-26w 2700K
1-42w 2700k
2-4ft T8 fluorescent tubes
This is a sealed enclosure with intake and exhaust ports.

The PC fans just dont move enough air...go to wal-mart and spend 7 bucks on there little circular fans. They work great to pull air out of the box. My temps are around 77-79 98% of the time

I'll take pics tomorrow when they wake up so you can see the lights. But there are some shots of them flowering up now. Links in the sig:joint:

I bought one but it was too loud... I have the tent in my closet and my gf sleeps in the room, ahah :hump: ... even i thought it was a bit much... it should get better once the lights get closer to the exhaust i hope

Im not to sure, I didn't see to much of it... I just remember the guy telling me the story... they have tons of product... but now that I think about it I don't recall much or any FF besides the grow big.... hmmm... give em a call... garden effects...

Here's an update,

The little ones are about a week old, im still feeding them straight H2O

6x 26w 6500k until after move (in two days :shock: ) i wanna put some 2700k in there and switch up the light set up, like hang them off a power bar or something

lights are 20/4 since its a autoflower strain I will probably roll with that straight thru, that way I can start new plants if I can...

temps are still high at 28-31c or 83-88f

moving in morning.... hopefully everything goes as planned and I have them in their new home quickly... i will post pics at some point... they are getting big!....er.
