just thought id share since i had some pictures

plants are now 30 inches tall.

only using general hydroponics bloom during flowering.

feeding about once a week in some soilless pro mix.

not monitoring temp, humidity.

using 1000w hps but currently in shop until tuesday.

im getting my ballast back tomorrow anyway so no big deal.

ill be doing a more detailed grow journal next time!

I'm just thinking, since you're in for like 12 weeks of flowering those near-pure Sativas ... an HPS bulb would be perhaps worth it. They make conversion bulbs to run on an MH ballast. cn

5.5 weeks into flowering. that ballast breaking on me probably set me back a smidge. grew them in bathroom lighting for 5 days while i got my ballast fixed.

Thanks bud! Ya for my first grow im pretty satisfied with my results. can't wait for next grow. going to be growing Pineapple express, Ice, White widow, blue venom, and thc bomb.

in your opinion how much longer do these girs have to go?

Hard to say.....Indicas take less time to flower than sativas....and yours looks like a hybrid LIKE MINE, so probably the mid, (funny because im at 5 1/4 weeks into flowering, so a little behind you.) and I have about 4-5 weeks left.

It is too late now on these ones. But on your next grow make sure to chop off the lower 1/3 of the plant, those nugs are not going to be worth keeping at the end and all they will do is divert energy away from the top colas where the real weight is grown.

what do you mean by the chop off the lower 1/3 of the plant?
