first grow, just got the room and plants in

  • i just put my rooted clones in and gave them the first feeding. im running X nutrients standard line and orca, (beneficial bacteria).
    my light is a 4x8 t5 (only running half power right now). i still need to set up a ventilation to get cold air in so any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. this is my first grow so let me no if you see something that isnt right.

    DWC: 5 gall - 6 inch pod - small airstone ( curently have 4 gallons in each )

    strains:
    2x blue dream
    1x casey jones
    1x head band

    with my feeding the recommended amount was:
    week 1
    grow 8ml
    micro 10ml
    ppm 567

    orca - 10 gallons 5ml

    being that there clones i cut the number of ML and gave them:
    • (this is all together, per plant)​
     grow 11ml
    micro 15ml

    orca - 2ml

    i checked the ph and ppm for each ph was around 6 for each (using the ph drop test, getting electric ph meter in a week)
    blue 1- ppm 310
    blue 2- ppm 320
    casey- ppm 340
    headband- 320

Quick update, roots are already coming threw and are a good 3 inches (5 -8 roots on each ). Ppm has stayed around the same as well as Ph, I'll update with pics later on. Blue dream #1 has grown a inch in just 3 days, i can tell she's gunna be big

So far plants are doing great, they were getting alittle purple and I was told i needed Calmag since I'm using R/O water .
current ppm

Headband -ppm 463
Casey- 483
Blue #1 -453
Blue #2- 459

Is it normal for ppm to jump that high?? Ph on all was good.
And i topped them as well, and also started LST blue 1. not sure if it was the right time but i feel as tho they are strong enough and growing is all about experimenting with things right!?
can anyone tell me why the leafes are pointing straight up? i read in a few forms that it meant the room is to warm, but the guy at the hyfro store said its just them reaching for light and is natural... please give me some insight.

also, i was wanting to make my own "door". just like the grow tent. but a zipper in the middle, that way i can put a vent tue without harming the light cycle and fresh air all the time, please help with this, looking to make or buy ASAP!!

Bump to the top.. Wondering if anybody has ant insight on the calmag, and how should i properly clean thee buckets to starta new feeding cycle

sorry i havent updated much guys, so far the girls look great! to me anyway haha.. today is day 19 in veg from rooted clone, they were asleep in the pics.
the first picture is headband
second is casey jones
third is blue dream 2
blue dream 1

for this last feeding,
grow-14ml
micro-18
calmag-12ml
orca- 2ml ( second time feeding them this)

now arent the blue dreams supposed to be growing like crazy? cause there the smallest in my garden,but the biggest in my buddys garden ( untrained )

ppm range, this is on a steady incline the whole time.

today is day 25 of veg and these girls are growing like wild fire!!
i have taken clones about 3 days ago and all of them were standing up the first night of cutting so im hoping they will root.
heres the girls as of about 20 minutes ago. there getting flipped on saturday :).


first- headband
second- casey jones
third- blue dream
fourth- heaven
