Im in Brazil in a small town where the weather is hot.
My grow is a small underground room with 3 x 2 meters. Im still setting up the place, i already set like a "grow box" with wood plastic and reflective paper measuring about 1,7m x 0,35m and height of about 1,3m. Im using 4 cfls in it, 2 x 44w and 2 x 20w. I also have a 400w and a 150w sodium vapor bulbs that Im not using. The plants were growing so well with the cfls that I still didnt bother. The "grow box" i actually call a nursery I intend to used until the plants reach a certain size (still undecided) and then transplanted to bigger fabric pots and taken out of the box.
I have 4 plants right now(in the pictures p1 p2 p3 p4), 2 I germinated myself (p1 germinated about september 1st and p2 germinated on sep 15th) and 2 of them a friend of mine gave them to me 1 week after germinated so i dont know the exact date of germination but they were the same size as mine so I imagine about sep 1st too.
All the 4 were germinated from seeds, so i still dont know if I got males (and this would be my first cry for help), the way they are, can I determine the sex?
All 4 seeds are from unknown plants, the one we smoke here in my town, they may or may not be the same type, I have no clue, and this is my second question, what can I find out about this plants by looking at them?
I started in a small coffee plastic cup, then to a 600ml plastic cup and then to the vase it is now, I dont know how many liters they hold, they are about 27cm in diameter on top and about 35cm high.
The soil is a mixture I found at the local farmer shop (its really hard to get specific products here), its soil (unknown by me) and 10% worm castings and some coconut pieces.
I just started with ferts last week, I got ferts for tomatoes, its hard to buy things for cannabis when you cant really say what you are looking for.
I have been watering each 2 days in average and spray water on the leaves almost daily.
Some of the plants are showing leaves lighter spots on the leaves, nothing too much but as Im a beginner im a little worried.
My friend who is my "partner" on the plants says that he thinks its time to flower (he's a little in a hurry to get real weed to smoke too), I sais they are too small yet, what do you think?
I took 3 pics of each plant p1 p2 p3 p4 a (front) b (top) and c (closeup) for each, they didn´t fit here, so i will try to post them in a msg later. here are p1 and p2.
