First grow, looking for feedback

Hey guys,

Looking for a little feedback on my first grow setup. I haven't started anything yet, I have a trip the end of the month for about 10 days, so I want to wait til I get back. In the meantime I am focusing on dialing everything in so that temps are manageable, etc. I know that humidity will change once I add the plants and start watering, so I am shooting for lower humidity right now, around 40%... temps are around 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

VIVOSUN 60"x60"x80" flowering tent
3x Spider Farmer sf2000
AC Infinity T6 & T8 for inline fans, active intake (also installing 2 carbon filters and silencers)
FOOP organic nutrients
Growing medium 50% ProMix Myco Organik, 30% Coco, 20% Perlite
Starting in 3gal cloth pots and transplanting into 7gal cloth pots
Installed RO system for clean water (5.7 ph / 7 ppm)
VIVOSUN 2-in-1 48”x36”x72” for clones/veg (3x3 area for veg, 1x3 area for clones/seedlings)
2x Spider Farmer sf1000 (one for veg, one for seedlings)
SereneLife 12,000 BTU Portable AC/Heater/Dehumidifier

I also got some pH up/down and some cal mag if needed. I still have to pick up a humidifier for the winter, but I have a few months until that time rolls around. I've been getting advice and tips from a few local friends who have been growing for years. My plan is to start with the custom mixed growing medium mentioned above, and slowly increase coco as I gain experience. I've also been thinking about going probiotic and mixing my own teas, as I am very interested in that, I've just been told that it is more complicated and I should wait until I get a little experience under my belt.

What do you guys think?

Nice, Im ordering 2x SF2000s myself for my first run. I'll join ya. bongsmilie

Sick dude. I couldn't decide between HLG and SF but they went on sale on Amazon and they moved the dimmer from behind the driver, so I had to do it. Also looked into building my own light, my buddy is building a ~750w board right now and it cost him what I spent on 2 SF2000. Crazy. I'll be keeping a grow journal on here once I get going. Keep an eye out, let's stay in touch.

I believe it! I know you can get waaay more power from built ones. I personally just don't feel super confident in my wiring skills for lights and don't want to burn my house down LOL. Maybe after I give the s2000s a few runs, and dont completely destroy the harvest, ill start looking into building them. Will def stay in touch.
