First Grow - Need Help with Hurting Ladies

Hello O' Wise Forum Friends!
I decided it was time to take the plunge and try to grow my own...both for the fun of it and to stop paying the dispensary prices on at least some of my medicine.

I started to germinate 10 seeds of Ed Rosenthals Super Bud on 12/12/12. I planted them in a soil medium after soaking the 10 seeds for about 8 hours in a cup of water and 9 of them are "alive". I am growing under a 400 MH and have moved them to 5 gallon smart pots. I am managing my temperature in the grow room to about 75 degrees, but it likely gets a little cooler when I have the lights off. I have the lights on for 20 hours and off for 4 hours to give them a little rest (I read the debates).

Here I am on the 4th of January with a few plants looking pretty healthy and some of them looking badly burnt. I did use some organic fertilizer at a level lower then the recommended levels after about 2 weeks above ground. I have a feeling it might be nute burn... on the other hand, I had my light about 14" away from the plants and the plants directly under the light seem to have suffered a whole lot more than the plants on the outside, so I am also wondering if it is some form of IR light burn or something.

Really... I don't know. I am hoping the group can help me solve this before I switch over to 12/12. I am gIMG_0183.jpgIMG_0199.jpgIMG_0184.jpgIMG_0193.jpgIMG_0189.jpgIMG_0195.jpgIMG_0190.jpgIMG_0191.jpgIMG_0192.jpgrowing in a 60" tall tent, so I think I have about 8" of growth on the ERSB before I switch them, assuming 125% - 150% during the budding phase. THANKS ALL!!!

They Look like ones I had before. Heat stress and over water. I moved the light away and let them dry right out before I water them again. Then water with ph 6 no ferts. And after about 5 days they were back. Leaves stayed yellow and shit. But all new growth was healthy.
