First grow, own box?

Hey all!
So I am going to grow weed for the first time. I'm kinda excited, and kinda nervous: it is, of course, highly illegal here, and I have so far been a strictly law abiding citizen.
I am considering one of two setups: first one is a grow tent with 125w CFL and, other than tent and lights, the same setup as the second one. The second one is a home made box built out of plywood using a CNC router. The reason for the home made idea is the price to get started (I get plywood for free), which means I will be able to get a LED-light setup instead of CFL.

Box: 60x60x120cm (~2x2x4ft), mylar clad
Mars Reflector 48 Grow Light
Fan: 120mm with carbon filter (old computer power supply + variable fan speed controller)
Pot: 11l (2.9 gal)
Medium: Gold Label Special Mix
Nutrients: Gold Label Roots, Ultra MG, Ultra PK, Enzym
Strain: Blue Dream by The Bulldog, one plant.

Total build cost including seeds should be around $170-190

What I am most concerned about is the lighting: CFL seems like the cheaper choice, but how will it affect the plants? Would the LED ramp I linked be better, or is that just a cheap gimmick?
Also, what would an average result be for these setups? 20, 50, 100g? If all goes as expected I mean? Should I aim for one or two plants in a box of this size? What would potentially give a bigger yield?
As for the grow I am planning on doing LST and FIM.
I would love to hear opinions and ideas on what I could change to improve my grow!

Imho using one 125w cfl you will not get results you like. One plant under that setup (assuming you have fem seeds and arent risking spending time growing a male) will probably net you 28 grams of loose airy buds if your lucky and everything goes good.

Do not bother with cfl if one of those break your screwed your plant is poison. you don't need that much height its 1.5 meters right? if your going for cfl-s. cfl has very low penetration so 1 option is to use 40w cfls and mount them on sides along the plant. 125w cfl wont do you anything it's better to use many small cfls because cfls cant spread/penetrate light on long distances, distance from plant should be about 10-30cm so in your 1.5m tent and 1 bolb light would be used only by top buds. I'm not much of grower did 2 grows on cfls and now moving on LED cob-s so what I'v learned is to use 40w cfl-s cos it gives best ration on lumens per watt and spread it all along the box not only on top. also paint box with white paint it's good reflector and cheap, paint is better than foil or paper.
I would put 2 plant in there and train them so it won't touch lower lights. also if it's NOT autoflowers small defoliation is your friend let's light through
