how long before i switch into flowering i have a 3'x2'x4'tall grow area and four plants. how tall should the plants be before i switch to flower?

my last grow i flowered at 8 inches tall. they stretched to over 24 inches by the time they were done. So when you read that they can triple in size....well they can triple in size.

I would look at LST for your plants. keeps a low profile for a longer time

Depends if you are growing from seed you want to wait until they mature a little bit.
Clones are a different story you can start flowering immediatley.

In that small of a space i would do some Lst + topping. Plants in flowering stage can double sometimes triple in size. Dont forget to acount for the pot and the lights. Take the hight of the light and minus it from the 4 ft and the distance between your plants and light and minus that from what you have and thats how much room you have to grow.

thanks for the info im growing from seeds so like 12 inches tall im assuming their about 6 to 8 inches now the more mature ones wish my deisel didnt stretch so far jus more information for the next grow :bigjoint:
