first grow question

ok so im at like 3 weeks veg and i put it on 12/12 monday so 2 days of flowering well i was reading some stuff earlier came across uncle bens topping method took that into consideration and well just went and topped it lol though not the way he said i have about 8 true nodes i would say the plant is about 9-10" and a node between each inch would be a fair call but my question is ive been told how serious it is to not stress the plant in flowering so could i have majorly screwed up by topping just now like i didnt even think about it and now im scared shit less someone please put me at ease

i topped it at the very top like just pinched the new growth at the very top of as my mother taught me a few years ago when i was growing outdoor

id put them back in 18/6 if u just topped even for a few weeks to veg those new tops
