This is my first grow and I could use some pointers. I was given 3 plants the other day one I believe is nearing the end of the vegetative stage and the other 2 are just beginning. As soon as I got the plants I transplanted into large planters and decided to use Miracle Gro Moisture Control as my medium. For light I went with fluorescent because of the operating temperature. My bulb is a 24" Ecolux with a 1025 lumen output and a 6500k color temp. It's only 20 watts but that's all I could afford. My big plant is nearing flowering I think but I've never grown so I'm not quite sure. I also have a question concerning one of my small plants. On the largest leaf there is a yellow spot. I have no clue what it is and was wondering whether it would be best to clip the leaf or whether it could be a larger problem in the making. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
