First grow seedling questions/issues.

Hey all,

Curious to know what issues I may be looking at here. I am aware of the green algae, this will be getting scrapped off.

#1 photo sativa, #2 & #3 auto indica, #4 photo sativa, #5 #6 #7 #8 auto indica.

Sprouted seeds then put in Coast of Maine Ocean Floor soil on 1/20. Lights on 20/4 cycle. Usually water every other day, started with distilled the first few waters, then switch to 1-2 day "aged" city tap water. Usually water every other day, usually about 1/4" water on top of soil that quickly soaks in. Temps 70-80*F, Humidity 45-60%.

From 1/20 - 1/30, they were under a 300w cob fixture (280w actual draw). At the beginning I had the light to close and had a little leaf burn so I raised the light. On 1/29 I noticed a little edge curl on a few of the leaves (cob light was about 12" above plants at this point), which I read was a to much light issue. Yesterday I put together a 3 bulb led light pulling 70w total (been under these lights about 8hrs so far).

Seedling #1, 5, 6 have been light this since sprouting. 1 of them did have a root curl above the soil and broke when I tried to fix it, but the plant hasn't yet died. The other 2 no idea why they are not growing.

#2, this morning I noticed drooping leaves, and the leaf on the right has curled in, it was straight out yesterday. They were watered this morning.

#3 & #7 are quite a bit smaller than the other indicas.

Thanks.

All overwatered .... seedlings need very little care.
They also do not need to be DOMED .... they are ok to grow in open. All of that unnecessary humidity / dampness / watering can lead to seedling death , damping off / root suffocation. Plus it adds to the algae issue because of conducive conditions ( excessive moisture ).

Just water occasionally when needed , no special watering voodoo ... softer light as not to stress them .

Dome has been removed. I have a small 4" desk fan, should I put that on them to help circulate the air to help dry things a little quicker?

The dome was to help keep humidity up as everything I've read, said to keep it around 60% up to flowering, then drop to 50% for flowering. When I was using the cob light without the dome, humidity was around 40% (35% humidity in the house). I'll cut back on the watering and keep an eye on them, guess the soil wasn't as dry as I thought it was.

By "softer light" do you mean less wattage than I was using, or a softer color temp? The cob fixture was 280w and a light yellow 45-4700k maybe, and the 3 led bulbs I just switched to are 70w total and 5-6000k.
