Hello everyone, thanks to all for such amazing expertise and info - I've been lurking and searching and reading and reading some more, and I'm thinking about dropping into the world of good genetics. I've got a couple of bagseeds under 40W flors. now that are about 8" tall, and I'm giving them some love and hoping for fems, but my mind is drifting towards the future, and I was hoping for some advice on first strains. I'm looking for a small, personal-only grow, no interest in selling, might give some to my friends here and there, and I smoke very little, so yield isn't too crucial. I'm really looking for something I can smoke a bit of during the day, and go about my business feeling good with an even bigger smile than usual. I'd like to smoke with the wifey as well, and she only digs on the energetic, let's do stuff and talk about things together high, no couchlock. So, in order to appease the masses, that's what I'm looking for. From what I've read, I'm aiming towards Subcool's Jillybean, Kali Mist by serious seeds, and Willie Nelson (maybe- don't know if I want to tackle a true sativa yet...). They all seem to be offering what I'm looking for, smoke-wise. Any opinions?
I'd also like the strain to be hearty and not too much of a hassle to grow - I'll be vegging under 40W florescents with mixed bulbs and flowering under a 600W HPS in a 6'x4'x7' room. I'd like to stay organic, right now I'm growing my bagseeds in
a mix of soil from my veggie garden and 50% aged horse manure. I'm going to be amending that with various organic nutes for a good starting point, and then adding worm juice throughout veg, maybe a bit of epsom salts. I'll search more for good organic flowering nutes, no need to be redundant on here... I guess my main question is of those three strains, will they be good for a beginner with patience and a love of growing/gardening? Thanks!
