Hey Guys 
im new to this so feel free to give me tips.
My setup is less than basic but as post name says its just to find my feet while i save up for light and build my grow room. i just use my window for light atm. I got given a bag of seeds from a friend who couldnt get plants to grow well at his house for some reason, they kept dying after about 3 weeks with the same soil, pots etc as im using so its a mystery to me hehe. i decided to plant the seeds just as the light was getting better where i live, i germinated a total of 20 plants from 23 seeds, 2 were weak and didnt grow over an inch and evenualy died a few weeks later, so i was left with 18 plants. I decided it was best to try get rid of a few of them as that many plants would have taken up too much space so i gave 14 to a few friends who are experianced and have lighting etc and kept my fav 4. i have only just aquired a good quality camera so didnt have any pics from when they were babies. they are all about a foot tall now out of the soil but i burried them when repotting to try and surport them better before they need the support sticks.
as i say im a first time grower but im enjoying it very much i have grown a wide varity of plants while growing up and have always enjoyed looking after them and watching them grow. my fav was a 10ft cheese plant that was 10 yrs old but hey thats another story hehe
