First Grow w/Tent

Hi All,

After listening to everyones comments I have put together the following system for my first grow of white widow. Just looking for comments on the system itself and if I am missing anything.

Mother Keeper Grow Tent (5.66 square feet of space) 4 feet tall, 1.5 ftwide, 4 feet long
For vegetative stage I have the set of T5 fluorescent lights that put out aprox 25k lumens

For Flowering stage I have a 400 W HPS system with cooling reflector that emits aprox 50k lumens.

Growing in fox farm ocean forrest soil and using Fox Farm nutrients (Big bloom/Grow Big and Tiger Bloom)

First I am looking for comments as to the actual system itself...it seems the only drawback is that I may have to start flowering at an early stage to avoid over growth of the tent. Any ideas on when I should start flowering with the space that I have?

Also as far as the different lighting systems are concerned:
1)How far should I keep the plants from the t5s during vegetative stage?
2)How far should I keep the plants from lights during flowering stage?

Any help will be appreciated.

is your only grow area 4 ft tall, or do you have a second one? 4 ft is too short to flower most strains of pot.

I only have one tent and it is 4 feet tall. So you are saying I wont get good results growing in the four foot tent or I wont be able to flower at all?
What if I switch to flowering cycle at 1 foot?

all of ure tech ?s can b answered in faq as far as ure set up make sure she has no light leeks from chamber 2 chamber and externally um i wood flower on both sides and stagger my harvest and lst lst lst

I only have one grow tent, I plan on just switching the T5 lights out for flowering and putting in the HPS 400W system.

does ure tent only have one chamber ?

Yes only one chamber.

im sorry compleatly misunderstood , t5 is awsome for veg put light bout 2 inches away
