First grow

Hello all im new to this forum but i just started my first grow on novembrr 13th and i thought i should start a thread about my grow and stealth box...Little info on my grow.My gf suprised me with some seeds germinating so i made a temporary grow box for them using 3 26 watt cfls with an exhaust fan and the inside lined with tinfoil...but im gone with that i bought an end table that open on the side so i layered carboard on the inside with emergencyblanket matrtial lining the whole inside...i mounted two power strips on the side walls with 3 26 watt cfls on each strip and cut a hole for an exhaust fan...i had 10 plants and i just transferred 3 of the plants that i decided to keep into gallon and a half jugs...the 3 possible strains are blue dream,michael jotdan, or jewel..i plan on ising the lst method for this.grow to maximizr my yield...i hope too keep u all updated almost every day...i havr not figuered out how to upload pictures im on a samsung galaxy s2...but i will upload with my.laptop tonight i think you all will be pleased at my setup for being a newb

Hope it goes well i have a similar set up wirh more lights i have about 445w in cfls for 5 plants heat is a problem but i put a fan dirrctly on my lights which helps me get them closer to the lights also humidity is good to check.

Im gonna pick up a bottle of fox far grow big nutes after work for them then ill put up all the info on this grow...any of you guys use grow big for ur plants...i read up a lot on nutes but what do you all prefer

This is some pictures of my grow that i have started.This is my first grow and i started germination on november 10th2012...The plants havent grown at the rate they should because i was aquaring materials and making the stealth box and did not have room to transplant them when i should have. I had 10 seeds and i repoted 3 of them and will be possibly keeping another small one i just saw that cought my eye will explain later on in.
THESE SEEDS ARE JUST BAG SEED-STRAINS-BLUE DREAM,JEWEL,MICHAEL JORDAN...These seeds are random i do not know which plants are what strain or if any are female.

View attachment 2422683After about a week of them being in the starter tray(way to long but never had the time to transplant into the cups before) i finally got the time to transplant them out of the tray and into the cups. For the soil i used some cheap miracle grow crap just for the first transplant

View attachment 2422692this is one of the 3 i chose to transplant to the 1.8 gallon buckets(i cut a little off the top so i can get more grow room). As you can tell their lil roots are eager for some more room. For the soil i used Fox Farms Ocean Forest. I transplanted them and then watered them. I also loosened up the roots a little bit to help new growth.

They are looking really good except the yellowing on the leaves but after i took these pictures i Fed them with CNS17 Grow(15ml mixed in a gallon jug, directions say 15ml-4L, so mines a little diluted).This was the first time they had been Fed nutes ever and since the transplant getting water. The one furthest from the light does not have any yellowing of the leaves. I have them positioned about 2-3 inchs from the lights, i have the pots on top of 6 dvd cases each so i can remove cases as the plants get taller rather than moving the lights.
View attachment 2422702This plant i saw today when i was feeding them and i noticed how it had created a whole new branch off the main stem like it had already been topped. Im possibly going to keep this one along with the other 3 in a smaller 6 inch pot. I placed it so that the lights are on both sides of the plant that do not have the branchs to see if it will create some more.

View attachment 2422706View attachment 2422707View attachment 2422708View attachment 2422709View attachment 2422710And finally my grow box design.For this i was at a thrift store about a month ago and saw a cool end table that had an opening door and i was able to pop the top off for easy access and i can replace it with ease(i thought about buying it for my friend but i didnt lol)well when i decided to make a stealth box i wanted to do a pc but after a lot of reseach threw that idea in the toilet.And went and got the table for myself.
On the inside i cut out cardboard to be the same dimensions as the insides.I then lined the cardboard with an emergency blanket(will upgrade to mylar eventually) and double side taped them in. For lights i am using CFL's that are 26 watt's each will have 6 once i get another adaptor.Then for the exhaust i traced the fan on the outside and cut it out with a jig saw and cut out a square in the inner layer.The fan is a single 12v pc fan with the wires spliced to a 12vdc power adaptor that i had lying around. I will upgrade to a bigger fan if i must and i will be putting a custom carbon filter on it later. For the power i just connected one power strip to the other the cord was ran around the top inside edge.Then the final cord was ran down a side and through a small hole i drilled.

Thats it for now guys let me know what you all think and your guys opinions of my setup...I will post pics and updates every day or two

I plan on doing LST if you mean what am i doing when they get bigger are you implying all the plants or just the 3/4

They'll outgrow that space I'm sure.

well i hope i only end up with two females and its actually quite big in there but i plan on keepin it pretty small.not looking to get like 3 oz maybe 1.5oz is all i expect/hope for
