First grow

I'm just starting my first grow, seeds have been germed and are in their pots. Im trying to go as organic as possible while still growing inside. I've got my lights setup and good soil, trying to grow it like the weed it is. My main question is: will tap water that's been boiled twice and cooled to room temperature without adding more soluble nutrients be enough to grow all the way until harvest?

Nerp. Would YOU survive on one meal every 3 months? Find a nutrient batch you're interested in and give her a whirl. Feel free to PM me with any questions you have.

Also, the best way to get good advice from RIU is to give as much info about your setup as you can. IE: Lights, type of medium, temps, humidity, pictures etc....

Hope that helps some.

No need to boil tap water. You want to let it sit to allow chlorine to evap out though some don't. I also filter mine ( highly rec the pur filter that attaches to the faucet). But there are no organisms in tap you should need to boil away IMHO.

Why would you boil the water to begin with, let alone boil it twice? Wasted time and effort serving no purpose, but I'm guessing you read on the internets this was some secret inside MJ growing trick.

And as a newbie invest in a simple cheap fertilizer and add it about half strength according to the label directions, for starters.

...as per the guys above ^^^, ensure your electrical bits and pieces are above your waist ....first. this allows a water container, jug or watering can to be stored in a safe corner, it is filled after each usage, as this allows the chlorines and shit to evaporate, also this allows the water to get up to the local air temperature, important not to shock those roots

Boiling also... Takes out the Oxygen... you want your water to have as much "O" as in H2O as possible...
