First Grower, 12 Week Flowering? Help

Hi all, My plants are in their 12th week of flowering and look nowhere near ready to me. The trichs (under 30x mag) still look clear and the 'hairs' on some of the buds are still white. I have attached some pics for you to have a look at please if any of you good people can advise me on it. I should add I am growing in a soil/vermculite/perlite mix under 2x 125wcfl lights and 1 x 45wcfl light. I need to use this to keep temps down. Plants have only had water during flower period so dont understand why bud not ready???please help

well dude it's time to realize that your cfl arrangement has not been the best of ordeals. they're too far away from anything to even reach the buds with their light. to do a proper cfl grow you need tiny plants that are only a few inches away from the bulbs. and your plants stretched all over so, this is what you got. good news is you'll still get a nice smoke bad news is it'll take a few more weeks probably :\

also note that by the time sativas get their trichs amber, they are way past their peak. this I read somewhere and I have a friend who sort of confirmed that, so, mind.

Looks like the buds at the very bottom of my mature bushes. I usually cut down to those and give em a chance to finish out. Reasoning is the lower nugs dont get enough light penetration to properly finish out as quickly. Im not sure that true, but youre entire plant looks like my baby bottom nugs when my mover is moving too far. Seeing the ammount of light you are running and how tall they are, Im betting you arent getting the energy to properly nug it out. I use a 1000 hps at 8" and even my 40" gals get shady lowers. Id suggest getting as much light as you can, hold on as long as they look healthy, and get ready for harvest my friend.

i use a cfl arrangement to root my clones for like a week or 2, you notice after that they need more energy coming at them, find a way to get those lights right on the tops, not to be a dick but i wouldnt even harvest that, its taking up valuable room for the next grow...IMO

I was wondering the same thing myself mazand. I have 3 clones of each plant (9 in total) all waiting to be transfered now,think they look ok, I can post some pics of them if you like. lights on walls are fixed but the 2 x125cfls are on hangers and I raised them on what seem to be a daily basis to the needs of the plants approx 4" away,any closer and leaf tips begin to burn.Have no idea what strain, found a load of seeds and planted them,according to diary planted 27 all told with 21 actually geminating,by the tie I had filtered out the 'crap/weak' I had 9 then when they went into 12/12 I only had 3 that were fem. lights are quite close (2") to the top buds but some of the side branches of main stem are quite away (maybe 6"). When In veg stage there was maybe half an inch between leaf nodes so think it may have stretched during flowering??(my bad somewhere?). I basically have an old dishwasher which measures 18"x21"x18"h (+room for lights etc), I use this to bring them on and in fairness they seem to thrive then when outgrow space I transfer to room measuring 20"x31"x48"h (again + room for lights etc) where I left them in veg until approx 2ft tall then switched lights to 12/12 and they have tripled in size since then (hence the bending). Heat n humidity in both rooms are identical at 75-90 degrees and humidity of around 65% although this has dropped to 50% during flowering for some reason. I have clones in DW at the mo which are doing well (seem to be, can post some pics??) but need to move now (arrrgghh.lol). like I said, I'm a complete newbie so any advice is muchly appreciated. I have read so much stuff on net but everyones setups are diff so finding answering to your own probs can be a bit of a mare. thx again.
