first grown need some answers!

so this is my first grow and i have a couple of questions that i cant seem to find any answer for

1. i just topped my plant and i wanted to know about how long should it take for it to split in two and start to grow some more flowers again?

2. when is it to late to move a plant into soil?
i've been using a hydroponics system and my plant is in some hydroton balls and I'm not really liking it so just wanted to know if i cloud move it to soil

3. is foxfarm really the best soil to use?

here's my set up

lights- cfl 250w 24/24
system- hydroponics
nuts- sensi grow a, b-52,vodo juice
and i water them 3 times a day for 1-2 hours at a time
and she just turned a month old yesterday

First off, you are watering way to much. You should water once a day. And an hour is to much time. 10 minutes is prefect. You can't top a plant in flower. You need to do it during veg when the plant is about 8” tall. Don't transfer to soil. Why don't you like hydro? How often do you change your res solution? Can you post a picture? What nutes are you using?

you should get a recycle timer or just rig a drip system, it will take roughly a week for new growth once topped, you can put it in soil at any time i suggest you plant with the hydrotons and net pot trying to take them out would most likely damage the root system too much foxfarm is decient i would suggest just making your own or i use coco choir its 100x better, and you should really only water once every 3 days when dryed out

Yeah, Coco is Good, or if your looking for soil, Roots Organic "Original Potting" is also good.
