First Harvest! Guess my yield!

Hi all,

The next two days my grow will be in complete darkness.

My Ladies are 3 Nirvana's Ice strain and 1 so called Afghan strain. Although, this plant is the tallest of the bunch, it has a lot of sativa characteristics, which leads me to believe that its not an Afghan.

They have been flowering now for 46 days and I believe they are ready.

If anyone has any objections, plz comment and lend a wise note.

If anyone has any tips for a struggling newb, it would be very appreciated!

If anyone has any tips for manicuring, drying or curing that isnt included in the countless guides on the net to drying and etc., plz note it here.

And guess my yeild, jus for fun.;-)

yeah. you need to wait a couple weeks at least.. they are not ready and im absolutly sure about that. and no need for the dark period before harvest.

Looks like your plants have at least another two weeks or more. You do not mention anything about the trichome color. The stigmas are still all creamy, this plant is not finished flowering. You must look at the trichomes for the indication of ripeness and harvest time. 46 days is not enough for most varieties. The 48 hours of darkness are not necessary, but some people believe it aids in resin production, I personally think it only delays your harvest 48 hours.

Waiting until the flowers are ripe will increase the weight at harvest significantly; don't play these guessing games, there is no way to tell how much you are going to get. Harvest and dry your crop, then you tell us how much your harvest weighs out.

doniawon when u say 4 OZ what does that mean an oz over here is just an ounce if this dude gets only 6 ounces of these plants ill chop my testicles off loll

P.S no need for the complete darkness, and i guess roughly 4 -5 pound

Just make sure they get 12 hours of Full blown darkness. Everyday

ah 4 oz dry weight.. thats appears to be a 4-600 watt bulb so my guess is 4 zips if harvested in a couple days. 6 if they go the distance. resin weighs. I never weigh my plants wet.

Ok. Jus anxious is all. I'll let em go fir a couple weeks. Jus kinda worried because of an apartment inspection coming up this month. Thanks guys!

im averaging about 20 grams dry with autos in a pc case with cfls it kills me to think that these big plants under a hps would only a yeild an oz a piece? how many watts you using man? I hope you get way more than 4 ounces im routing for ya bro!

Yep, I agree with this guy. CHRONZA, 4 - 5 pounds, ahahahahahaha!

Btw, they are lookin' beautiful!

They are under a 400 hps. I'm def going to get everything I can out of the hps next grow. I'm going to do a ScrOG grow.

no were near done ive grown ice 2 times now and both times they needed 11 weeks urs are covered in white pistils you have a few weeks to go yet m8

Better start sharpening your knives man.

4-5 lbs?!? Have you ever seen a 1-2 lb plant? Obviously not.

I'm with everyone else on the 5-6 oz estimate. Let them get a bit older though, and order a small microscope today. It'll be in by harvest time.

I have a 60X microscope. Its just a pain to use. My hands are shaky!

And im taking everyones advice i just hope they dont take 11 weeks ckckck. lol im ready to start my next wayyy more successful grow.

i jus watered them. Going back on the flowering nutes.(Just basic MG Flower Bloom)

Would anyone know a great strain to grow in a ScrOG grow? i can probably fit three plants in my grow room doing ScrOG.

thats a successful grow. them plants are huge for a 400 watter+rep

Indicas have shorter internode spacing, allowing you to place the screen a decent amount lower. Indica/Sativa hybrids are my favorite though. I love LA Confidential!

Ill probably go with that strain! Looks DOPE! And yea, i think thats what im growing right now is Indica/Sativa.
