[h=2]First Indoor Grow, Any Tips or Help Would be Appreciated, Come along for the Journey[/h]
Hey guys, I just joined the site and just thought I would share my first time indoor grow with anyone who is interested in following the grow. I will be posting up measurements and exact details of the room size and all that on my next post but for now i wanted to get some pictures up and maybe some feedback on anyways to better what i have going on. I came across 4 Blackberry seeds and 2 Northern Light seeds about 6 months ago. Unfortunately they got mixed up and so this whole indoor grow started as an experiment, which ended up going rather well, so I am investing some money into it to see if I can take them through the whole growth process!

Since the 3rd of January, I have changed the plants to a 400w Plantmax Metal Halide for 18 hours on and 6 hours off. I will also post all the past details of how I started with the light details and everything later on as well. As of right now i have 5 plants left which are in Happy Frog Potting Soil and going under the 400wHPS/MH Digital Sandblast High Intensity grow light. I have a very basic vertical room fan that has 3 velocities levels on it along with a Vortex VTX600 PowerFan 6" 452CFM extractor running. The temperature when the lights are on is about 20-25C with a humidity of 50% and the lights of it drops to about 15-20C with a humidity of 65-70%. However, i just checked this morning before i turned the lights off and the humidity was at 90%!! Any help would be great

You for sure need a dehumidifier. That's the obvious problem here. If you don't get one then when your buds do form they will be covered in mold and that = time wasted.

looks great man! a high humidity is alight for veg, in flower it'll cause problems with bud rot and the like. eventually it might cause mold issues in your room as well. i tend to agree with red, more ventilation might help the situatiuon. other wise they look like happy, healthy plants!

Here is an update of the children, I changed the light 2 days ago to the 400w HPS and here are a couple pictures. It seems like two of the plants are curling up at the very tip of the leaves, if you look in the first picture you can see what I'm talking about! Any ideas what this may be?

Move the taller plants to the edge of the light footprint
and the shorter plants into the centre.
Leave your hand under the light - palms down - at the height of the canopy
If the back of your hand is comfortable - the plants are OK
(Plants and people like v similar temps).

Ventilation will sort out your humidity
but VEG plats like HIGH HUMIDITY
Once buds begin the Humidity needs to decrease.
(OR BUD ROT is likely).

For a first timer who started because they 'came across 6 seeds' your plants look excellent.
and the room doesn't look half bad, either.

I look forward to following your progress.

Hey guys! Here are the second set of pictures of my plants, this is day 5 of flowering! They look to be growing very nicely and have great color and are starting to smell a little bit! I also added a carbon filter inside of the grow room now. I have some problems going on with the curling of two of my plants! I have a 400w HPS light running 12/12. the humidity is usually around 50% with a temp of 25C with the lights on. With the lights of the humidity is 80% with a temp of 15C. The past week they have been curling like this and I'm not sure exactly what to do about it! The first 3 pictures are a general overview of the ladies. The next 6 pictures are of the curling issues i am having on two separate plants. Any ideas or things i should check for??

Hay anybody who is following or is interested in my little grow operation! this is day 16 of flowering! The beginning colas are starting to blossom nicely. One of my plants is growing a little strange compared to the others. Im going to leave some pictures here of all of them and some closer up pictures of the pistils and beginning colas. I have a 400w HPS light running 12/12. the humidity is usually around 35% with a temp of 25C with the lights on. With the lights of the humidity is 45% with a temp of 15C. The last two photos of are the plant that is growing different then the others. Instead of it having colas starting to grow all over its just one cola in the middle, it may be normal but just thought id ask. Also the plant has the leaves curling up all a little, its visible in the last two photos from this set! Any ideas or positive thoughts on this would be much appreciated!
