So after talking to a friend with experience using the 600r and the 650 r in his 5x5, I’m currently running a 600r in a 5x5x6.5 tent in its side so that it has a 6.5” footprint. It’s currently at 32” and around 40%, I have 6 vegging there, but I’m ordering a Vivosun 5x10 another, 600r, and 2 8bulb t5s. The 5x5 is going to be a clone/veg tent with the t5s and the 5x10 my flower, running an 8 and 8 cycle eventually. I have them in 3gal smarts and plan to transfer to 10s around week 6. They’re currently being fed medione 3mL per L and are getting 2L 2x a week currently. They’re in 2 bag to 1 bale mix of ocean forest and hp promix. My question is, for the flower tent, would it be worth the 300ish I can get a 300r for or should the 2 600 be enough? Also, any suggestions on an efficient co2 you’ve had success with, where I can improve, maybe trimming and training or different whatever’s, are always appreciated
. The rest are pictures from today. The first one is my pure Michigan, the rest will be dressed up similar. The next 2 are strawberry gelato and zookies. I’ll eventually have a hlg 650 scorp in with the 600r and stick the t5 8bulb in the smaller tent. The smaller tent will eventually be a clone and veg with the 5x10 being flower once these 6 are outside. These 3 are Mac1, which was a slow grower but is dumb sturdy, the branches are so thick, I think she’s going to be a real monster this year, a zookies, which was my runt and the only one that my soil mix was a little hot for, but is doing a lot better with time and training, and lastly my black cherry soda, she’s been a wild bush from day 1 and needs trimmed and trained every week it seems, going to be a real tree come October. I was thinking 45gal pots would be fine but after seeing how fast the roots came out of the bottom on the cherry soda, I’m questioning 65gals lol. I’ll keep this updated in chunks guys
