First "larger" indoor (32 plants) yield estimate? Week 1 flower

Got I believe 36 plants in this guy all of them except for the two larger ones on the left outside corners are blue dream the other two or dream Queen. The left half of the tray was probably 2 weeks veg longer then the right side. I just flipped into flower on Halloween. I did pretty much absolutely zero training, just have been feeding. No topping or anything for the majority. My other 2 grows were short cycles with 6 plants that yielded 20oz dry weight. Mix of all different strains. Never again with a grow tent lol.

with no clue on what to expect from 30 blue dream with average 5 weeks veg. First 3 with LED and moved to 600 HPS x2 for my 4x8. Have been hand watering. Lots of changes coming to the room soon. Are these scangly little guys (stalks are thinner than expected) like ...1oz ea? 2? ...5 pounds total? 2lbs? I am sorry I'm clueless. Feeding and watering and pH /follow bottle schedule of gen hydro series.

Learning and on a budget that does not warrent proper growing all at once. Slowly upgrading and building as we go.

also this is all personal. I don't buy or sell. No clue what it should cost either way lol. Just something to do and I enjoy smoking outside of daily obligation. 10 year disabled combat vet, work part time at a carwash doing maintenance so I'm forced to leave my house 3 days a week lol. It sure isn't for the pay LOL.

I always get nervous there's going to be massive amounts of mockery in response to me asking these very generic questions because I know there's a lot that goes into ACTUALLY trying to calculate yield . I'm just looking for some sort of a ballpark because I'm just inexperienced. It doesn't really matter what I come out with I don't have any expectation.

thank you all in advance20191107_122117.jpg20191107_121941_HDR.jpg20191107_122117.jpg20191107_122117.jpg20191107_121941_HDR.jpg20191107_122401.jpg20191107_122332.jpg20191107_121958.jpg20191107_121944.jpg20191107_122131.jpg

Is 4x8 and 600w the total grow space and light, or was that a transition setup and now they're in a full room?

Think you added some pics, looks clear now. You picked some strains that are good for delivering weight, but you're at 37 watts per square foot and that could be better, but it's fine and I'm sure those lights put off some heat anyway. I like to think of it like grades relating to how well you did your homework, so I'd say anything over 2lbs is an A, around 1.5lbs is a B, around 1lb is a C, around 0.75lb is a D and 0.5lb or lower is an F. Roughly, of course.

4x8 is total gross face and there are 2 600 watt lights. I found the LEDs that I was using to start these plans for just not doing it at all because I had so many, but had to cut cause the tiny bit so went with 600w instead of 1k. Answered your question..I hope?

Looking good, but wouldnt expect much from 2 600w lights over a 4x8 area. Theres so many variables between now and harvest no one can tell you even remote ball park number. When i was first starting growing i always set my expectations high and was dissapointed so many times. Finally figured might as well set them low and be surprised. With that setup anything over a pound of good quality buds and you should be happy.

Update with pictures (lol notpictures but it's what I can do). Ran into spider mites for the first time... but pretty much have gotten those taken care of by this point also my tops are too close to my light and they're as close as I can get to the ceiling so they are getting a little bit fried.... All lessons to be learned for the next cycle . 18 days into flower. I know I'm going to have little airy wispy buds because there's so much going on and light/space is limited. I think on the next run I'm going to do 36 plants still but with a second 4x8 and 2 additional lights.

Still looking for potential yield estimates as the thread progresses and I update. I just don't understand some of the comments saying that I would only get 4 grams per plant? but I'm going in with open eyes that just does not seem correct to me though I can see more than that just in pre buds right now. Possibly I misunderstood .20191118_134639_HDR.jpg20191118_134642.jpg20191118_134700_HDR.jpg20191118_134709.jpg20191119_084403.jpg20191119_084512.jpg20191119_084705.jpg20191119_084647.jpg

With that huge amount of plants and 2 piss poor litte lights i wouldnt expect more than 12 Grams a plant and thats being genorous. My advice drop 26 plants or get another 1500 watts of POOWWEEERR

Your grow is looking good. I am by no means a pro-grower, but I work and get the job done. Ive had 2 failed grows, 7 good, 1 dnf.
Im also a disabled Vet, EAS'd 10 years ago Nov. 14th! I grow to sustain my medical needs, plus, I just love the hobby.
I think you have the potential to pull a couple(+?) LBs from that space with efficient use of your equipment. If you don't mind my .02:
Get your ballasts off the floor, safety first. Depending on how much extra space there is in the room, hang some panda film or a reflective layer behind your table; this will help concentrate your lights focus to the tables footprint. You can push cool air through the lights (duct work and fan); Should allow for cooler canopy temps; you can then let plants grow into the light or lower the light as close as you can (with out light stress) while maintaining adequate temps. Defoliate for light penetration. Get support for that branch weight!!
Just as important as the environment, is your feed schedule. Dial that in. I personally don't like to feed too heavy or let the pots go too dry. I make a moderate nute mix for the plant count, then water every other day, give or take (depending on environmental variables; ie. humidity, pot size, grow medium). In soil, I find no need to flood and wait to they completely dry out, especially if they are watered consistently in moderation.

Im subbing up. Def looking forward to seeing this one finish.
