Grow hood with inline vent
Vivosun 370 cfm fan
Charcoal filter.

Soil: foxfarm ocean forest, happy frog and perlite.

Nutes: foxfarm trio

Strains from seed
Mosca fire fly
NL X G13
Code black og

Clones
Hawaiian punch
Glorilla glue 4

The seedlings are 4 days old from being in the cup and the clones are a few weeks old. The plant in the 1 gallon is mysterious kind.

We will call this day 5 because of the seedlings. The clones are 2 weeks

So i watered all the plants today. They were getting dry. The seedlings are definitely starting to grow bigger. Only using soil and water. The no name plant is growing decent also.

I have another strain i didnt mention its northstar queen of hearts, but doesn't look like its gonna make it.

NL x G13 by bred 42

Mosca fire fly

Code black og by bred 42

Norstar queen of hearts. Not sure its gonna last. Stem is green but leave look awful. Not letting me post the pic of it. Maybe another day.

Then the 4 fem clones of gg4, Hawaiin punch, Skywalker Og. Dont have these close or direct path of light until they get bigger.

Not too much to report. Seedlings are getting bigger for sure. Temp has been 75 in the tent with 40% humidity. Just ordered a ph meter so when i feed im on point. Excited to keep this thing going!

Hell yea i appreciate it. Gonna learn alot along the way
Looking good so far!

I've been reading these forums since 2008 and have learned a lot. Everything I know about growing is thanks to RIU. It's all trial and error until you find what works for you! If you have any questions, just holler!

Looking forward to hearing about your experience! :bigjoint::weed::leaf:

Thank you i appreciate that. Wish a few other of my seedlings came thru but they havent. I will most likely be grabbing a few more clones.

DAY 6

Ok so today we lost another one. A northern lights X G13 didnt make it through. It also doesn't look like the norstar queen of hearts is gonna make it either, same with 1 of the other mosca fire fly

So i decided to germinate 3 more NL/G13, 1 more mosca fire fly 1 more Norstar queen of hearts and 1 Swiss gold X Bubster. They will be slightly behind but hopefully will be ok.

Ordered some 3 gallon fabric pots, some cutters, a nice fan, ppm meter, ph meter. Should be here tomorrow.

Here are the current pics. Ill keep them in this formation to keep things easier to see a difference since i wont move the light for a bit.
From front to back is
Row 1 NL G13
Row 2 Mosca fire fly, queen of hearts
Row 3 Code black Og

Here are the clones. Not much to report with those yet. They are in coco but will be put in soil when transplanted.

I had a hard time with seedlings a while back using nectar of the gods soil
POSt Mortem I found that the seedlings roots weren't making it through all the little white rocks (can't remember what it's called)
Keep it lite and airy, nearly every plant will reject rocky soil.

Those little white rocks are called perlite and they make the soil light and airy. Some people grow in pure perlite or clone in it so it's not the little white rocks that stopped your roots.

I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS. I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as some are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.

Day 7.

Today lost another one. The queen of hearts. It had a green stem but the leaves were tiny and it never really grew. Seemed like the inside of the shell stuck on the flower and never came off.

So in this picture is
Front row: northern lights g13, mosca FF
2nd row: code black og.

They are starting to root toward the bottom. Possibly tomorrow or friday i will put them in their finals pots. Going with 3 gallon. I will have them in 40/40/20 happy frog, ocean forest, perlite.

Heres the clones. Lightly watered them 1/4 strength nutes. I cut one of the leaf off as it was almost dead. Once i see roots coming through the bottom i will transplant these also into 3 gallon same mix.

Temps got up to about 80 today then i got it under control to 75-77 35% humidity. Nervous about the clones. Just want them to go into soil as i think it will be easier for my first time.

Day 8.

So this happened today.

Got all 4 of those in their final pots. I coule see roots coming out of the small 8oz cup. Didnt wanna go to 1 gallon then to 3. Rather just go straight to 3. I hate transplanting.

The clones are still doing good and in their solo cups until i see roots coming out.

Today i got my ppm meter in and my ph meter. So i mixed up 1/4 strength of nutes that they recommend for foxfarm nutes and to my suprise 1/4 strength to a gallon was 450 ppm and the water had a ph of 6.6. My water from my well is 7.4 so i didnt even have to use ph down when using nutes this time. But regular water i do need a few drops per gallon. Not too bad. So i will feed the clones that tomorrow since i didnt today. Let the roots search!

Day 9.

Not much to report. The plants seem to be liking the transplant into their 3 gal pots. I can already see growth on a few of them.

The clones are doing fine. So the 6 seeds i had germinated popped so the 3 rest popped tonight. So i have 6 more total solo cups of 3 nl g13, mosca ff, swiss x Bubster, and queen of hearts. If they come through soil soon they will only be 1 week behind.

Day 10.

2 seeds have sprouted through the soil. 1 still has the seed on it so ill keep an eye on that one. Hard to see in this pic

But all the others including the clones are doing well. Can see growth on the plants each day. Temps been staying 75 which is good. I will take a picture of each individual plant in a day or 2. That way i can show better progress. But heres another from today. I also didnt water the clones. I feel like i was over watering. The plants were droopy.

Day 11. WATER DAY.

I ended up topping all of the plants. Each seedling has sprouted through the soil from the 2nd batch i germinated. Hoping they will be good to go. I watered all the plants today except the clones. Letting those dry out more since the cocoa is still moist.
Here are some pictures of the seeds through the soil

Here are pictures of each individual picture. Once the seedlings get bigger ill take them off the pots.

Northern lights X G13

Mosca Fire fly
