First outdoor grow

I am not a very patient person. I read the "Common newbie Mistakes" thread, and I am the person that just gets too excited.

I got some regs seeds, and have perfected the germination process. I have some Durban Poison seeds on the way, and just wanted to ask some quick questions.

I am going to prep my grow sites, and have them ready to go. I have been reading ALOT around the forums and I see quite a bit of talk about light control.

When do I know that my plants are ready to go outside, and how important is light during the initial growing stage?

After it goes outside, there isnt alot I can do about lighting. Do I force it to flower before transplanting so I can kill the males, or just keep a close eye on the growing site?

1) light is very important during the intital grow. The more sun the better
2) Wait till there about 2 inches, thats what i do. You can even just plant the seed straight outside in the begining if you want.
3) Do not force flower it when you put it outside, just let it grow and cut down the males when there balls start to hang
