You will not be disappointed with that purchase. I bought the ONKYOU TXSV70 PRO in 1990 and it still performs as new. This AMP will melt your ears when hooked up to a quality speaker system.....Never been a fan of Cerwin Vegas I've always been a fan of Paradigm which are a Canadian company with unreal quality at a great price. Purchased Paradigm Studio 9's about 1992 as well as rear and centre channel speakers and the only thing wrong is the one speakers dust cover broke and I had to glue it back together But the sound is phenomenal....I mean its not going to compare to a $15,000 system but in my opinion the ONKYO higher end line up is far Superior to anything in its price range from any other manufacturer.
Enjoy man,,,, I know I've enjoyed mine for 20+ years now.

thxs canuck,,,I've had my old CV's for over 20 years,,and they still sound like the day I bought em,,,that's why I insisted on another updated pair,,,apparently for rock music,,they perform,,,,thxs for the input

so,,,it took three weeks and a long trip,,,but I finally got it,,,my speakers came in,,,exactly what I wanted,,but as I was looking over the specs on my reciever,,,,,I see the guy scammed me,,,,gave me a 100 watt version,,told me it was 135,,after reading specs in manual,,found it out,,,,so I go back and bitch a bit and the guy gives me what I want,,50 feet monster cable free,,,and this reciever

http://www.us.onkyo.com/model.cfm?m=TX-NR808&class=Receiver&p=i

that was regular 1299.99 in canada,,,,for 999.99,,,for waiting three weeks,,,and having to pick it up at another location,,,any way,,it's hooked up and rocks,,,still reading the manual,,,(a small book),,,to figure out how to work it all

here's a shot of em in real time,,,,,,

Man that canuck has a nice puffy avatar doesn't he?.....
I've been an avid home theater owner for twenty years, moving through several receivers and a bunch of speakers....I currently have a Yamaha Z1 (older flagship) and using some JBL L100 as mains...with Energy speakers as surrounds.....I've owned the L100s for 24 years and have found nothing that can push them out of the way...believe me, I've bought a bunch of big name speakers.......On the Paradigms.....I recently set up a friends HT using Paradigms....good stuff.....

lol,,yes he does,,,, I too love the tunes Oldreefer,,my mancave has a Yamaha with my old Cerwins,,,quite a difference from inside,,,also got this old Technics SA 600 kicking around,,,,she's mint,,old tube style,,,
