FiRsT PoSt!! any help with wat i got???

this is my first legit indoor grow, ive been a reader of rollitup fer a while gowin now(by the way thank all u posting people out their reading this!!) and finally made a decent setup fer my self.

i basically took a u-hual triple walled wardrobe box (witch turned out to b $30) and hung a 150 watt hps (keep in mind, its not touchin the walls) and 4 32 watt cfl's around the lower corners. i wish i could put sum piks up but i cant figure out how to? but yea any help, tips, advice, or even suggestions would b great!! thankx rollituper's!!

yea..it say wen ever i try to upload sumthin im missing a security token, wat the hell i gotta figure this out.

if it wont let you uplad pics, maybe you are too new a member? they just tryin to do alot to keep spammers at bay, ya know? are you tryin to put the pics up from your comp or from the web?

ive tryd both! like three tymes each too. how long does it usually take fer them to.."clear" me?

They are prob too big..you can post pics right away, I just re-set my account and I didn't have any problems posting..

How are you going to control the heat in that box? How far away is the light from the edge of the box?

OH yea, fergot to mention that huh! i got a twelve inch fan wire tied to the side and two cpu fans on top, and two inches on 1 side and three on the other. the fans got speed adjusments on em too.

I would probably be freaked out about the light being to close to the sides, but should work..I saw a set up similar in college..good luck

thanx dood!! wat do u think about the hours mixed like the tho i was thinking doin 6 on 6 off, 6 on 6 off..or twelve on twewlve off...or not on off but cfl's on and hps's off(and vise versa) cuz i wanted to do sumthin different, oh...hopin to give it sum color?? ...and i read sumthin about plants lovin and ejoying muzik??? so i put a couple speakers in da closet....any thoughts on that??

stick to what works man, 24/0 18/6 or 12/12.

also i dont think you need the dome once the seedlings pop up

do you have a thermometer or a way to tell the temps in there?

oh! im runnin em 24/7 but i wanna fluctiuate the lights, hps to cfl, so never gets the shell too hot, and to c if it gets a nice colr or sumthin new. ive used this light (hps) on a previous grow but im just xperimenting i guess? but yea the wire hangin down is the temp guage, and i got a thermometer by the light too. it never went over 74.6 wen i ran it fer a day str8, with both lights on! but "dome"????

it looks small mate i would be topping the crap out of it to keep it short

also i like how you got the fan that should force air in and push enough back out
to keep you temps nice an cool make sure you keep then fan on while the lights are

i think im gunna fin em! but yea it stays cool almost too kool! on the 3 fan setting its down to 69! can i fin and top?any1?

don't see why not get a timer for the fan 15 mins every half hour that way they will get some heat
