Hey folks, 'been growing for a couple years on and off. Have mostly settled on growing in coco to date in a 2x4 tent, general lst, topping, etc... My yields to date haven't been great, I think my best plant was maybe 35-40g or so. I've accredited that mostly to my lighting as I've mostly used just 1x 400w Mars Hydro LED from ~2016, one of the blurples + just getting rolling into the hobby overall. I never thought that thing was putting out enough light for the whole tent, maybe a 2x2, but was keeping things on a lower investment, more casual approach. With the advent of newer COB lights, I added a cheaper "1800w" light I got off amazon for like $100 to the mix and I've actually been pretty impressed with its performance. It gets a little warmer than the M-Hydro but I think the foilage under the cheaper cob are actually growing faster than the 2016 led tech that cost a little over twice as much at the time - I switched their sides in the tent last week because the green under the M-Hydro looked like it needed extra love in comparison to the stuff under the COB, now they are coming up nicely. I also have a new quantum board v3 light with the new Samsung horticulture diodes coming from China in a couple weeks, excited to try that thing.
Anyways, I've been doing a grow this year and decided to give Scrog a try for the first time. My girls are about 2 weeks into flower now, I've decided to stop moving them over to new squares as, since this is my first time trying scrog, I don't have the experience of knowing when to stop and just let them grow. Some of the smaller satellite bud tips are still slowing making their way up to the net line and I don't want to have the things get stuck too low, I'm hoping everything will keep stretching up a little for the next week or so still to get it all above the net for that even canopy goal.
Have done LST & super cropping on the way to keep things low + fatten up the branches. This is my first time trying the supercropping as well and the results have me laughing sometimes, those arms really grow back like fat biceps!
If I have a question in here, i'm curious roughly when you guys stop bending the heads over to new squares and just let them grow?

just a note, the GG in the middle looks like it's a bit smaller but it's bigger heads are just grown out to the left and right, middle is mostly lower satellite guys growing up.
