hi all this is the first time scrogging an i am so use to keeping plants compact with short internode space etc, anyways same as this scrog i have a mesh 2" square hole over the plants there 40 day old but still really compact do you higher the light to make em stretch i was planing on flipping on the 1st of this month but that has been an gone an they have only filled about 45-50% of screen, i use 2 x 200w cfl bulbs by nlites that use seperate ballast 1 6500k an 1 2700k i used PURple 25,000k bio tropic for seedling an then used the other 2 when they go into veg, they are in a diy version of undercurrent system 45 lpm airpump an 2000lph water pump to recirculate the water, the containers are 5 gallon each with 5 gallon epicentre when i do the flip i will use 600/400 switchable ballast with batwing reflector, the temp is 71-75 deg constant rez temp never goes over 66-68 deg,RH mostly around 50% light on when they go off temp drops to 65 deg an RH increase to 68% then when lights come back on after hour it goes to around 45-50%mark ph is 5.4 over corse of 2 weeks it rises to 5.9 ppm is 1100-1150 an ec is 1250,i use AN sensi 2 part with DM zone an DM silica, all plants are healthy all greened up no yellowing or brown spotting nothing, so is there anything in there that you can see that i am doing wrong oh they are white widows as i love the way they side branch out but i just cant get them to increase there speed to fill the screen should i take the 2700k out an raise the 6500k bulb allthe way to the top to increase the node length or just be patient, sorry for long winded write up just trying to give you heads up of how i am doing it just never done scrogg an thought i would give it ago any adice taken peace fellow ri uppers

i grow nothing but white widow and a couple of queen. i used to do nothing but queen till i found white widow. I use the scrog method and have great results with the widow. only a couple of things that i see that i would try to change and that is try to keep the p.h at about 6 all the time/get the temp up to 80degrees but not over 85 andtry adding co2 at about 1200 ppm TRUST ME you will be amazed. I use 2 1ooo watt mh for veg and 2 1000 watt hps for flower and only move the light up as needed or when they get to close to the light. I will truthfully say that i have gotten about 2 inches of growth daily during veg and the stretch is during the first couple weeks of flowering. i would wait till 75% of your screen is full to change the cycle if it was me or youll be cheating yourself. pull the branches back down thru the screen and let them grow along the bottom of the screen then the nodes will turn up and youll have all the more tops poking up. once they are all started thru the screen start flowering. hope this helps ya and good luck

thanks queen for the reply i will try the ph at around 6 an see how they take it i get good yields from widows around 4-5 oz a plant in straight grow no lst no top no nothing just thought i would give scrogg ago,i was going to wait till the screen was 75% full i pretty much know how to do it an to keep plants all good healthy i just cant seem to get them to stretch enough for every 2" of a branch there is 4 new internodes popping out,i have co2 cannister just not filled so have done some homemade co2 generator,i too love the widow both for yield an quality of smoke if you dont harvest early also the side branching these girls give is fantastic thats why i choose widow for scrogg i get about a 1cm of growth a day which i think is quite slow compared to some others i have done barneys farm honey b an some jack herers i had,the temp thing bothers me abit i try to keep around 70 deg mark to keep res cool, also i thought they can transpire quicker in hotter temps causing cannoe shape leaves i will try some methods you suggested cannot do the 1000 watters as i only have 400/600 switchable so i might try putting 600 mh in there as well see how they fare up thanks my friend peace
