I started indoor..moved outdoor in late June. Try to keep you're growing medium (soil mix) as natural as possible..I used a mixture of my ground soil, chicken manure compost and black gold potting mix. I planted Train Wreck, a Blueberry strain and an unknown (All from a medical grower)
Watch in the fall and winter for the angles of the sun for the summer. Make sure they get at least 8 hours of direct sun light a day.
Watering was easier for me because I'm very close to my plot..Watered every third day alternating nutes between liquid Alaska Fish fertilizer, Chicken manure tea and as I started to get into flowering I switched to Tiger Bloom and natural molasses. I'm dealing with some powdery mildew now :(

Hope that helps or is at least a start.

the weather here has indeed been off, somewhat. water every three days or so. wait till the first two inches of soil are dry. then water.
