First time flowering

Hey guys,

i'm just coming to the end of my 3rd week of flower, i've been using 12/12 light cycles, and the plants are starting to bud quite nicely. now since this is my first grow im just looking for some basic advice/tips in regards to nutrient use, flushing, and if anyone can estimate how many more weeks i have left, my best guess would probably be another 3 or 4 weeks. Since they have started flowering they have grown almost 1" a day (i've been keeping notes:-P)

anyways, any advice is welcomed, thanks.

Most strains take 10 to 12 weeks to flower,, so you likely have much more than 4 weeks

Don't change much as your plants look healthy, no need to flush, but others may advise differently

tips..

Someone else may question this but its just my 2 cents here.. but trying to add nutes this late in your grow wont have much of an impack, due to bloom nutes needing to be added every 3-4 feeds. belows a mini idea of the feed patten but most nute makers have online charts if you google enough. But this is why i think adding bloom nutes this late may not be helpful to your current cute looking flowers on them lil gems.

for example
week 1 water,
week2 water,
week 3 water/bloom nutes mix ,
week 4 water

Nutes are really best to begin introducing around the 2 -3 week marker.after the seeds popped its wee head above soil.
on nute again theres 2 parts of most nutes come in.

Grow nutes = vegging stage
Bloom nutes = flowering stage
Auto growers = just use Bloom nutes!

I do flush mine as i pefer a less nute flavoured smoke compared to some tokers. its also useful to clear out any gunk which hasnt washed away from past water feeds/flushes

if you dont mesure the gap between your lights an tops of your plants. use your hands! simply place ur hand just above ur plant tops an raise the light accroding to how hot it feels on your hand. been using that since i was suggested it to me when i first broke into grwoing on my own about 4 yrs ago.

dont panic over every little thing!

keep up informed of how this goes though cause ive yet top see nute less mj grown indoors..

also few questions where is the growing? in a carbaord? wardrobe? whats your overall watts used? are you manually watering them or are they being fed undewr an auto drip feeder of some kind?

Hey guys thanks for the input. 10-12 weeks of flowering? really? that seems extreme to me however i'll take your word! every morning when i wake up turn the lights back on there's an incredibly noticeable growth (which is awesome) which makes me question the 10 week flower but hey, time will tell. As far as your questions go they're two plants growing unconfined in my closet with lots of ventilation, I'm using 4 23=100w bulbs, 2 cool blue, and 2 warmer yellow's. now i know it's not ideal to have a mix of color spectrums while flowering (or so i've read) but i'm a first time grower on a student budget so sue me. I'm also watering manually usually 1L every 1-3 days. they've been especially thirsty since bud production so in that case i've been watering accordingly. Ive also been using a 20-20-20 nute mix with all regular watering without any signs of nute burn or any other grow issue. The canopy is getting pretty dense, which is causing some of the leafs at the base of the plans to wilt/die but just the small weaker ones, which i assume is normal. in this case would you recommend me doing a bit of a 'super crop' to the low level foiledge? Also what is a realistic expectation for bud yield? I dont know how well you can see in the pictures but there are quite a few flowers between both plants. if you need some more pictures for an accurate guess let me know! Thanks again for the help!

Honestly you maybe lucky to pull a quater due to your watts used. I no because ive been growing with either 125 or 150 CFLs for a few years until my recent investment into hydro and wilma systems. but your get back what you put into your setup as you no with student life being tight.

Vostok nailed it with his more lights comment.
