First time Flowering

Ok this my first time to flower and i wanted to know a few things before i started.

I have 5 plants that are 11" ,13" ,8" ,8" ,2" in 8in pots and my grow space is only 2 feet tall.



also I'm going to move them to a different area for the dark part of the 12/12 and i wanted to know how dark does it need to be?

Totally Dark Pitch Dark During Dark Cycle No Light What So Ever!!!!

As close to total dark as possible.
