First time gower. Should the stems be this long? (2 weeks)

Ok, So im a newbie when it comes to growing. This is my first attempt, and hopefully it goes well for me. I would just like some feedback just to make sure im doing it right. Currently im just growing 2 plants, both under 1 28W CFL and 1 100W light bulb just for a little heat control and to get them started I have orederd ahigh-pressure sodium light that should be here in about 2 more weeks. The plants themselfs are around 2 in a half weeks.

very slow growth if they're 2.5 weeks since sprout. if that 100w is incandescent its nopt helping you much at all as far as growth. If your saying you need it to keep your temps up then just get a y splitter at wally world and a couple 30w cfl's. theyll equal the heat and you can get them alot closer to the plant without burning it. they are stretched. the cfl should only be 2-3" away at most. they're reaching for that light and you're not giving them nearly enough. if its gonna be a while getting the hps you really should get more cfl's in there in the meantime.

keep the lights a few cm's above the seedlings and you should be o.k. man. peace.
