Ok my brother stuck a couple bag seeds in a pot with some soil and they came up. Then he gave them to me, im not exactly sure how long he had them before he gave me them. I took them and stuck them under a little 10w CFL. They have been there for about a week now. I want to veggy them with CFL's, how many cfl's and what watts should i go get? There is just 2 plants. Also the stems look kinda scraggly and weak. Will more light strengthen them?

first of all separate them into different pots,
you are gona need much much more light,
get the 23 watt 6500k cfls,
you will probably need about 6 or 7 of em to keep the plant nice and bushy,
to strengthen the stems you will need a fan blowing mildly on them

^^ ya..replant them in two seperate pots....and bury them with only a couple of inches of the stem outta of the soil...so its not all long and falling over

i stopped into menards earlier and grabbed a 23w cfl. They have a 4 pack for like 8 bucks, but didnt have any so i got a single 23w till they get more. I cant seem to find where it would say 6500k tho so i dont know what it is. It says 1600 lumens and equal to 100w. I also hooked up an extra computer fan i had lying around to try and strengthen the stems a little bit. I seperated them into different pots. If anyone knows how to make the pictures a little thumbnail to click on and make bigger that would prolly be better then me posting big pictures. But till then heres what i got going for right now.

that looks better... but you will wanna poke some wholes in the bottom of that container otherwise you'll run into root rot.... you might also want to get another computer case fan and mount it so that your plants get it directly on them... ;) one reason for weak stems... also when using cfl's you want them as close as possible... like 1"-2".... the Lumen in cfl's is low... and dissipates with more distance.... just make sure it's not too close so you burn the leafs....

here's a pic of mine... ;) not a computer fan grow or a cfl grow though

i dropped the big light down a little further so its closer to the tops. Only reason i have it in a computer case is its easy to stick fans and lights on it. now its time to go get a bag of some nice bud. been gettin really good stuff lately, ill try for a pic of it but i cant seem to take any good pics of bud close up.

Use your Macro mode on your camera, its for taking up close pics.

put it on auto focus then press button 1/2 way so it can focus then you play with the distance and youll get the pic, it helps me

when i moved them into seperate pots it looks like it might have done something to them, not sure tho, they look a little slumpish today, hopefully they will perk up soon with the added light and stuff.

ok i had to put them back in the same pot together cause i only have a little bit of soil to work with for the moment. Im sure they will be ok in the same pot for a few days. I put them back in one pot with all the soil i have so that i could cover the stem more and they wont be so tall. I noticed that on one of the plants, down what i guess ill call "veins", down the very center of the 2 largest leaves those veins are purple and also from the first 2 leaves that arent jagged, from there up the stem is purple, is that bad or normal or what? still trying to figure out how to use the macro mode on my camera, one i do ill take some pictures of them for yall, maybe you can tell me if there lookin ok.

put a magnifying glass in front of your camera lens when you snap a shot. Its a ghetto-macro mode, but it works for closeups.

i will but its 10:30 at night, i need some help finding out the name of some bud, its this really really good shit ive been getting lately. ill post pics in a minute

Telling the difference in weed when its dried is damn near impossible. They all look the same. The only way you know for sure is to buy seeds from a reputable seed bank and grow it yourself.
