First time grower leaves folding in!!

Hello all. I’ve been reading about this issue: leaves folding up, and have seen several possible causes. I’m growing in FFOF using grow big sparingly and ph’d tap water. I keep my watering ph at 6.5. I’m concerned my tap water is very hard and possibly causing problems. I have 2x600 watt viparspectra leds. Temp and humidity is 85 degrees highest with humidity around 25%. Everything looks good other than these dang leaves. I have an exhaust fan and a fan for circulation. Am I over paranoid or is there a problem? My lights are about 18” above the top of the plant. I will get some calmag. When I was feeding more often I got tip burn. So, it’s not nutrient lock from to high a tds in my tap water? Thanks so much.

It does look a lot like light stress. Too much light and the plants try to avoid it.

I will move the lights up, lower the temp and raise humidity. Lots of variables to this. Pretty involved for a “weed”. Lol

do you have two viparspectra on that one little plant

one is enough for veg with both switches on @ 24 to 26 inches is best in veg and 16 to 18 inch in flower will work

you must be wasting allot of electricity ruining two in veg unless its in a 4x4 with several plants

If it's just 1 plant you have and you have 2 lights 18" above I would say that's too much and too close and also red is for bloom purple/blue is for veg try turning 1 light off and raising the other and swap it to veg

I do in fact have 2 lights (both on veg and bloom) in the tent. I have the little plant in question and an auto flower in there. I was told the lights were garbage so I thought they weren’t putting out enough light. Will raise them for sure. Should I turn bloom off then?

If it was me it give it some veg light before bloom even if it's just a little to bring it up but autos are different you can pretty much use veg+bloom from start I think .. I don't do autos

Look like heat stress to me. Light stress with led usually shows some bleeching. Those temps with that humidity are definitely a problem. You need to get that humidity up over 50% and preferably over 60% at this stage. I would lower your temps if you can to help out if getting the humidity up is a challenge. If you can get temps of 77-78 and humidity to 50% it should be enough. Im betting that plant is sucking water up like crazy which is why you are seeing early signs of nutrient burn on the leaf tips. They really benefit from higher humidity in early veg since they don't have the root system they do later on.

Just a follow up for all. The temp was lowered and humidity slightly raised (need to get a humidifier). The leaves seem to have folded back open. Also, I turned off the bloom switches and left both lights on veg. I also have the lights about 24” above now. I’m going to flush and start using better water as well. Thank you all for the help
