First Time Grower Long Time Smoker Needs Advice

i,ve just got 20 armagedon clones about 5 inch now. got them in coca under a 125w cfl blue light about 6 inch above 24hrs. just gave them there first neuts today at 1/4 strength.
i have 144sq ft of floor space at 7ft tall i think i need about 2400w what lights would be best and anything else anybody can tell me that might help would be great

That many plants already with no prep? Man, you've got a task ahead of ya to get all those to finish....but that being said....a couple of 600-1000w hps will do ya justice...along with much much much ventilaton

it is tough for me to get more than 8 of the gals under one of my 600's, so i bought another ! with 20 plants you damn well better have at least 2 lights, get two 600's and youll be glad you did, just keep the air moving and the new air comin in as well, your plant's stomatas will love you for the added air, its a must

hope you got some dough to invest.. lights, soil, electric bill, food, containers, meters, supplements and the other misc things you need

2x1000 digitals HPS balast+ hoods+ Lights = $1200
2 6ft light movers = $300-400
20 home depot buckets (For the plants)@ $2.50 each
15 more home depot buckets for water storage @ $2.50 each
16-18 bags of soil (Ocean Forest/Happy Frog) @ $10-$12 per bag
6 inch fan to cool the lights = $100
4 inch supply fan + Filter $120-$150
8 inch exhaust fan (For Carbon filter and room exhaust) $120-$140
Ducting 4x25ft @ $15 each
Carbon filter $100-200
ONA bucket (Home depot bucket, small fan, ONA Agent, Water crystals) $30-40 bucks (helps with smell)
Vent fans to move the air around in the space, wallmart has these stand up fans for 15 each, they work well! figure 1 fan per 5 plants spaced in the room, at least 2 feet away from the plants.
Misc tools and other random hardware including thermos, timers, extension cords, chems (For bug and PM control) fert, water filter, air stones for water supply ect.


Look at 3-5 grand for a setup for that size. Believe me its not cheap and every "Supply" run to the hyrdo store is easily 50-200 bucks depending on how you are feeding your plants.
