First time grower. Organic soil grow using clones, how to?

So, I need help! I have a deep closet that I will use half of. I bought two 5 gallon pots (too big) Should I grow 1 or 2 plants per 5 gallon pot, or should I go smaller, say using four 3 gallon pots? What is the best way to transform half of my guest bedroom closet? How do I eliminate the possibility of spider mites. Also need help on how to water them? Do I just use water for the first week after transplanting clones into soil. When do I start using nutes? What nutes do I use for the veg phase, and how long should I veg em. Also I am debating getting a 180w LED, would that be a good choice? I am just trying to keep power bill down. Is there anyone that would like to lend some helping advice?
