First time grower, Should I be doing something???

Hi everyone,

My plants are around 12 weeks old, seem to be moving along pretty well and a friend said that I should be removing some leaves from the bottom of my plant. What are your thoughts? What should I be doing to this plant as she approaches flowering? Keep letting her grow?

Thanks in advance for your time and patience............

First congratulations for not flipping to 12/12 when it was 30 minutes old. You will be rewarded.

Lollipopping is what most do at this stage.

Nice job.

those plants look nice! i think what your buddy is talking about is lollipopping to remove some of the undergrowth that wont get direct light and will in turn produce looser flowers.

looks great! some growers would remove more fan leaves and would continue to remove the biggest fan leaves, but i like to leave some like you did. i would leave it for now and let it start flowering and see what happens.

:)
