First time grower

Alright, before I start I just want to let you know that I know NOTHING about growing.
My situation is that I'm going to try to grow in a river in a canyon. The plants are about a foot high already and there's five of them. Three pots with two with two in them, and one with one in it. Anyway, I was wondering were an ideal location in or by the river, I'm not sure which, would be good. Also, it's a pretty nasty hike, so could I use the river to water on it's own? Basiclly what you would do with that situation, and with very limited resources.

i sorta had the same situation going with my outdoor...but by a stream rather than a river lol. what u should do is find a spot by the river and dig down and see if there is a little bit of water that fills up the hole. that way u know thier always getting water. the trick is to find the right amount of water flow underground cuz u dont want to drown them.
hope that helped

Smokey has an excellent point-- stealth is vital. You don't want them anywhere close to a trafficked body of water. I'd relocate, and buy the some good hiking shoes. Good luck man.
