Whats wrong with this plant,
How do the other 2 look?

Damping off, Too Hot and Too dry.

yea .. middel one look ok .. last one look hot .. maybe to wet ?

what soil do you use ? I hope a light one full of stuff like Perlit or coco and not to hot in nutriens ?

and I hope you made nice big drain holes in the bottom and dont over water them ?

do you corret your water PH to 6,5 ?

I am using 707 soil with no perlite or coco, my setup has poor ventilation and I'm using party cups as pots.

I just reduced the light cycle to 18/6 hours instead of 24 hours to hopefully reduce the temp in the box.

I don't know the ph of the soil or water.

I am just learning and i appreciate your help.

Get yourself a cheap bottle of carbonated water and a fine spray mist bottle. Spray your plants once in the morning quickly and once at night also quickly. Stop drowning your plants by poring a pint of water over each one Always make sure the soil is slightly damp to touch and no more. Follow the simple guidelines and your plants will thrive I assure you

P.S. Just because the soil is dry on top doesn't mean the roots are in dry soil.

I mean if he is watering he may as well do it right. If it takes a pint to get water seeping out of the bottom then go for it. Its better to thoroughly water every once in awhile rather than watering every day with just enough to moisten it. Although I shouldn't talk since my babies look sad when I got home from work today. I drenched them this morning in a hurry to get to work.

But again if you're gonna water make sure its thorough. What you want is good healthy roots filling the bottom and sides of the pot and the only way it will do that is if it is constantly reaching for water.

I just picked up my own pH soil tester for about 20 bucks, there was a cheaper one for 10. Then you can get the more expensive electronic ones. Anyways the 18/6 will drop your temps just make sure that lights off doesn't mean temps will drop too drastically. You wanna find an equillibrium of a constant temp. You're probably also going to want to consider adding perlite to your soil if/when you transplant them for better drainage. Don't worry though its my first grow as well and I am still learning. Theres a lot of sources for information on growing. Jorge Cervantes is one of those great growers, he has videos on youtube that I suggest you check out. I learned quite a bit.

make some drain holes in them cups ..

and yea spary em .. with as fine dust as possible .. under the leaves mosly as its wher it breath ..

and yea never over water .. weed dont like wet feets all the time .. tho in small cups its hard not to water evry day .. specialy with high temps.

use the next week to get some coco or perlit for your soil .. and some nice 3 gallon pots with nice drain holes ..

mix 30% coco or perlit in your soil mix (lega nuts can be used if that is what you can get) and repot em .. once they are a week or so older and grown out of them cups.. roots will soon need more space to expand or grow will be very slow .. next to non ..

You're right to do so, I should probably be more careful, still learning. Next watering I won't go as heavy. Kind of over did it today. So they are all droopy and one of em is turning a little light green. I haven't started em on any nutes though. They are still less than 2 weeks old.

Why carbonated water? Its my first time hearing about anyone misting with it.

Nvm as I was smokin a j I realized carbonated water was used for its CO2. At least that's what I've concluded.

well I just use rain water .. or bottel water .. if I mist .. as I mostly only do the fist few weeks ..

and I only realy do it to avoyd the lime from my tap water .. as the leaves with get all white of it if I spray em with it ..

but yea I guess we all have our ways of doing stuff .. and hell ... if its work for you .. dont changes it .. but Im still open to new ideas .. you will never be to old to learn ..


I think a good advice and sumthing I would have loved to had when I fist started is .. look in to coco .. so hard to over water or go wrong with .. so easy to correct .. and give great results .. come close to hydro if you get it right .. well that is atlest what I have notice ..

Im now in a organic soil/coco mix with a list of stuff .. trying to avoid nutriens in my water or correcting PH in my water all grow ..

Yes your correct its for the Co2 and in the UK Tesco's sell a 2 litre bottle for 20 pence

dude, this is my immediate reaction 'oh it's seems to be too hot there'. How do you maintain it? have you learned the growing tips already?

He's still a beginner like me, its hard to diagnose anything when its the first time seeing it. I'm still unsure about what ails my babies. But I have a few guesses and I plan to fix as soon as I can get a hold of some pH solution. Damn Organic store by my house is closed on Mondays.

About 1 or 2 weeks in now..

Does it look over watered
Should i start using nutrients

Hows the climate there? Is it hot?
