Hey all,

My first outdoor grow seems to be going really well. They were only put outside in the middle of May, but so far so good. They had their first real rain on them last night and god damn i swear the girls loved it! It is AMAZING what the SUN can do to node spacing and leaf size. Indoor has NOTHING on mother nature!! If some of the more experienced growers could scroll to the bottom to check out 2 issues I am having, it would be greatly appreciated.

Plants started throwing pistils like crazy not too long ago. Is this normal?

They are all in 5 gallon pots in FFOF soil, with the FF nute line plus some AN supplements.

Some of the pics the plants looks REALLY lime green, however i assure you it is just the lighting - the sun was setting making the plants come off a lot lighter than what they really are.

On to some pics. Forgive me for the quality.

There they are ~3 weeks ago, Jul 13. Scraggly and looking average at best. This was about 2-3 weeks after putting them outside.

This thing will hopefully have some great colas

Some clones i took. Look at how the plant in the airpot is just kicking ass.

Some size reference

More size reference

Plant issue #1 Brown spots showing up on some leaves. I THINK its a cal/mg deficiency but it is only affecting 2/6 plants.

Plant issue #2 Yellowing clouds on some leaves

i often see those spots on my lower older leaves. i never really worry about it. unless it gets progressively worse. it could be a touch of over watering. if you can i'd try to get them into bigger pots. they can and will flourish in those but a bigger pot would help with watering issues and to prevent to plant from getting top heavy and falling over.

Awesome First grow/garden.
Yah iif it was me, I would flushh her and then when they recoporate and the soil is dry enough, transplant into a bigger pot. Also could be a deffincies. hard to tell.
Good luck. looks like you got the concept down. :leaf:

Thanks all the responses guys! Unfortunetly, i dont think i have enough room in my grow area to transplant into anything bigger. Also, they plants are pretty damn big so transplanting them will be a PITA. If i were to transplant, looks like i would just have to cut the bottom of the pot off and put the entire thing in a larger medium.

The plant with yellow leaves might be over watering, as i did have to do a flush (which was probably not needed ARGGG), so they should bounce back. The girls seem to love me watering them every other day to every day.

My basic nute cycle is as follows (i never go above 50% recommended and wont until i am in mid-late flowering):

Day1:
FF Big Bloom
FF Tiger
FF GrowBig
FF Open Sesame (they are throwing mad pistils)
VooDoo Juice (this might come to bite me in the ass so i might have to stop feeding them this or transplant)
Cal/Mg
Molasses (for the Voodoo Juice mainly)
Some Silicate formula (it can get hot out here plus might help combat any pests that may come my way)

Day2
Silicate Formula
FF Open Sesame

Than right back to my day formula.

Does this seem like too much? Should i try and just give PLAIN water inbetween water with nutes/supps?

From what i understand, Nutes/ferts should be given every other watering and suppliments can be given every watering. Am i wrong in thinking this?

Thanks All!

you are giving them nutes every day? and grow and bloom at the same time? maybe im just reading wrong could you explain further. the plants look good not scraggly at all i would say. but if you could gently repot in something twice that size you will produce much more they are rootbound by now would be my guess. if you are using ferts that often it is a bit to much your leaves are not a result of any deficiantcy but nute lockup would be my best guess. im no pro just trying to help i would lay of everything for a couple weeks. just water it will not hurt them believe me. also doesnt one of your fox farm products contain mollases you may not need that either.

Sorry i should have clarified a bit. I have to water the girls just about every other day depending on how warm it gets. If i am getting a full day of sun, the pots will be near dry by next morning. So when they are dry, i will give them the DAY 1 schedule, whenever they need the next watering, they get the DAY 2 schedule.

I know it seems like a lot, but the plants have built a good tolerency and i have not seen any issues minus the 2 noted above. I don't really want to transplant the plants as i like the height they are at now and should see another couple inches of growth before the roots lose room to grow. If anything, ill cut the bottoms of the pots out and throw the girls into some storage containers with soil.

5 gallons at about 3-4foot high, ive seen bigger from 3 gallon tubs indoors, so i think i am ok on space :)
