First Time Outdoor - Home and Away, how to prep ground??

Hey guys, I will be attempting some outdoor growing this season, Im thinking 1 large plant on my property that can be babied and some small grows with a few smaller bushy plants within walking distance (which for me luckily is farmers fields and some woods if I want)

My concern is prepping the ground but not being to obvious from above or seen doing the work. If I wanted to plant 4-6plants in one area, with the intent of them being about 5 feet tall at finish, what would it take to prep the area. Simply put the seedling in the ground and hope the ground has some food, take the chance on walking in some bagged soil? Would likely need a bag a plant Id assume.

A place I have in mind has a water source close by, so I could leave a jug and water that way on the days I went to visit. But im curious what else I may be missing. Deer arent a problem here, but I definetely see alot of squirrels and rabbit if thats a sign of anything

Cheers to a good outdoor season! Id like to get planted by May1st

simple way would be to use a bag of soil per plant. Place bag on the ground, cut a slit in the top and punch a few holes in the bottom and plant seedling. Surround the plant with chicken wire.

You will still need to feed and water as needed.

You need to find a spot with sun and cover. Plant to the south side of bigger bushes or trees for good cover and light. For that size plants I like to dig a hole at least 24" wide and 18" deep.

I use the stinky spray for deer and rabbits instead of wire, but it isn't fool proof. The deer trimmed a couple of my Spring Crop plants.

Try not to make trails.
