First time poster first time grower lets play is it a He or SHE

First time posting and first time growing I am curious at what the more experienced people here think. So i was bored and built my own LED hydro set up from random parts i had floating around.
Rubbermaid container? FREE
scrap PVC to build the frame FREE
Air bubblier from old fish tank FREE
sump pump from a broken tile saw FREE.

Well i planted 5 seeds that my friend had sitting around, dont ask about the breed he has no clue but its pretty high quality.
So out of the 5 seeds 2 didnt spout
1 sprouted and and died 2 days after that
1 died after 2 weeks, for no reason all the leaves dropped and turned yellow
and this one has been doing very good for about a month now.
I see growths from the stems but i have no clue what sex this plant any of your guys want to take an educated guess?

Have you put the light cycle into 12/12 yet? Can't tell

no still on 24, I figured it looked a bit small and young to switch over to flowering cycle
I took it out just for the pic so we would have truer colors.
The plant is only about 4.5 inches tall and its first 7 leaf leaves are just starting to come out.
I have yet to find a good answer to when you change the lights. Some people say when the plant is X high, some sites say when its second set of true leaves come out.

You can flip them whenever you want! you won't know the sex until you do...

It depends on how big you want your plant, expect a stretch of 2-3 times when you flip! Some people start seeds under 12/12 but they don't get that big because if lack of veg...

I have 30 inches from the base to the lights No heat at all and since this plant is the soul survivor I was thinking of cloning it to fill up my growing contraption since i went through the effort of cutting 4 holes and i have 3 of them covered with foil tape lol.
I swear if you guys havent bought any foil tape is a godsend its highly reflective, you can re-position it to a degree, it blocks 100% of light.
I havent had time to build my final panels which will just be high quality cardboard with tinfoil glued to with with super 77 and foil tape covering the seams.
The foil tape actually is strong enough to act as the hinge to the door too.
I was even routing Co2 from my beer fermentation vessel into the grow container lol

That's no joke. Take the maximum vertical space you have, subtract container height, divide by three, and then go 12/12 when your plants get to that point. As a n00b myself, I let some plants veg a bit long due to unplanned circumstances, and now they're outrunning the overhead. Like whoa. I don't know if any are straight sativa or indica, but the tallest one is definitely indica-dominant. Like whoa².

Also, if there aren't pre-flowers (balls or hairs) to tip you off as to the sex, then the rest of us probably can't tell either.

if its a male i wont kill it i will grow it nice and big and then put it on the roof of a cop car when its parked
