first time runnin autos...questions

So I got a 9 auto fem strains...I got a 400 watt mh/hps in my veg tent...im wondering will it be ok to just run em under 18/6 6500k the whole time(some say switch to an hps but I dont want to veg my photoperiod girls with mh...also ill be running them.in 3 gal pots (happy frog and ffof mixed ) this all seem ok....not trying to get a large yield oz or two just want other flavors while other plants are flowerinh

run em at 24/7 or 22/2 if you want to let your lights rest a bit. Auto's want as much light as possible for best results

I changed my mind so im gonna run only autos under the 400...my question now is ill run 20/4light mh for first 3 weeks then switch to hps for remainder still run 3 gal buckets with hf/ffof

hps the whole time is fine
they will take what ever light you give them

It will but you will get better result with mh for veg and hps for flower.

Ya its a 400watt mh/hps ill ryn mh for the first 3 weeks tgen hps...I figure 4 plants is plenty under a 400

agreed but
the stretch from the hps and higher lumens tends to make up for it
if there to dense you lose the under growth
