So let me know what you think. I've thought about putting a little bit of orange juice in with them while they're growing What do you say?
I've read a little about apple juice but... so yea orange juice ha. PS what do you think about my method with the smaller cup and the bigger cup.
Kind of a mixture of using soil and hydroponics I think. Like I said, First timer soooo.:dunce:

P.P.S. sorry for the blurry. next ones will be better.

orange juice could serious hurt your plants if you dont know what are u doing. pH bellow 6.5 is bad. keep the juice for you.
also get a normal medium, so you can easy control it. your plants are droopy too much watering imo, they seems like they starving also. give em some good nutes
they also need transplant to bigger pots.

Don't try the OJ treatment until you get more info. I think there are some nutrients you can buy that somehow give the plant sugar to grow on, but that could be snake oil for all I know. I recall reading many years ago about an experiment where someone gave a plant a transfusion of coconut milk and reported that it made the plant healthier. I have seen one dude post in another garden forum that he had a keg party and dumped all the flat leftover beer on his lawn, then a couple days later that patch was growing faster than the rest of the lawn.

As for the two-cup system, I'd only say that you might want a little gap between the bottom of the orchid pot and the water in the larger container. The soil should probably dry out from time to time, roots need oxygen and ..... molds are bad, um kay?:bigjoint:
