Right now i have a 7 pod aerogarden classic. iv planted 5 Easy Ryder plants (ak47 x Low Ryder #2) all dwarf auto flowering. i have also planted a Kannabia LaBlanca fem seed i got for free (white widow x Snow White) this one is a med to tall plant and requires photoperiod to trigger flowering. all plants are 2-3 inches tall right now after only 5 days:-o. The gardens water reservoir is only about 1 gal. Am i able to make a DWC bubbler and use the aerogarden cone pods they are already in? vs the rocks? im worried about the roots as the plants begin to grow rapidly from now. will it matter? any info will be helpful!!

Problem is it's only a 1 gal tank and you will be filling it twice a day, every day, when they get older. In addidion, different types of plants grow and mature at different rates so some will overshadow others competing for light. I grew 5 WW's to maturity at 30" tall using a 6 pod AG several years ago and I'd never try it again. Yup. I took off the hood and used cfl's to get them that tall and LST'd the hell out of them to keep them in shape. I only got 3 1/2 good oz's and I think it cost me well over $800 including the price of the AG and getting everything I needed to grow...And I'll tell you, your pH will be a bitch to keep in the 5.8-6.5 range. The samller the tank you use, the harder it is to control all the variables of a grow....Good luck and I wanna see pix later...thx HGH

I tried an AG and had 3 going. It failed. It was too small with the roots.

I switched to a 30 gal DIY DWC. Best move I ever did. It was real easy to make.
