First timer SCROG question

I currently have several plants under screens and a veg light schedule. The leaders for each plant are just starting to poke through the screen. My question is - when do I flip to 12/12? Do I do it soon and use the stretch to fill the screen or do I want to wait for a bit and start to weave the leaders into the screen for a but first?

Any SCROG experts?
 
you want to fill the screen to about 70% full, flip to 12/12 and continue training halfway through the stretch. stop training and allow the stretch to finish. I would not weave. What size is your screen, how many plants, how old are the plants?
 
Screens are 24x24 per plant with 2x4mesh mesh screens. Four plants total.

I'm not sure how old they are as I received them as leggy clones that had to be cut back.
 
If that picture is from a week ago, i'm sure they have grown quite a bit. But I still would wait about a week and a half at least. I flipped my light when my screen was about 70% and they went crazy. If you know how much they will stretch that will help you determine if you're ready or not. Plants look healthy though.
 
How about this? Time to flip or not?
If I had to guess, the canopy covers at least 60% of the screen. The head leaders are about 2-3" above the screen.

Unfortunately, I am growing four different strains that were gifted as clones so I don;t know what to expect.....
