First true leaves from seedling purple/brown?

This is my first time sprouting in rockwool. I am growing Northern Lights Auto's and my first sprouted leaves don't look conventional. I'm used to seeing two nice green tiny leaves.

Sprouting method:
12 hour soak in shot glass @ 23C using distilled water.
Placed seed in the rockwool cube that was soaked for 4 hours in non ph adjust (ph read 5.6 so I didn't touch it) RO water.
Placed the cube in a humid seedling chamber above a heat mat set at 25C for 3 days until it sprouted.

I did not shake out any excess water from the cube before placing the seed. And two days after placing it in the cube, I gave it one spray of the same RO water to add humidity and water to cube (which probably wasn't necessary). When the seedlings first two leaves appeared when the cotyledon opened, they almost looked yellow. Because of that, before I went to bed, I cracked the seedling chamber to let out any extra moisture thinking that it may have been over watered since the cube were so wet the whole time. And when I woke up, the seedling appeared how it is in the attached image.

Do you think this is caused by over watering? I want to start another seed and shake out the extra water this time and not apply any. I'll keep this one growing to see what happens, but it just doesn't look right. All the NLA pictures I see do not have any purple.

I don't grow in rockwool but from everything I've seen you want to shake the excess water out of them. As for the purple first leaves. I get many seedlings that do that but they end up turning green. Just give it some time and don't overwater.

Good luck.

I guess this is my first time seeing this as well as my first time using rockwool. I'm probably being impatient, but I've never seen the first two leaves like this planting in dirt. I purchased the seeds directly through the breeder which I hope is legit. I'd just hate to have these things grow 9 weeks with no flowers realizing they're not auto's, and now I have to put some giant plant into 12/12 flower.

Here is a little update on day 3. Good thing the leaves turned green but, these leaves are really curled. I had a paper plate with a hole covering the cube in a coffee mug to keep the cube moist. The cube has never dried out at any point. I just removed the paper plate cover to let the cube dry a bit. By the look of the pictures, are the leaves most likely the sign of drowned roots? And is there a point in keeping this going, or should I start a new seed?
